1986 Chevrolet K3500 Black Single Wheel 1 Ton Regular Cab Long Bed Truck on 2040-cars
Jefferson City, Missouri, United States

I am the second owner of this incredible 1986 Chevrolet K30 454 4 speed single wheel truck. I have owned this truck now for 8 years. I own my own auto repair business so I am the only one that has ever worked on this truck mechanically since I have owned it. I had the truck painted around 6 years ago. Any panels that were replaced were done so with GM parts. They were very hard to find but I did and in the sealed boxes still. This truck has NOT been modified! It is stock and sits just like it did in 1986 on the dealers lot. There is NOT any welding done on this truck as well everything has been bolted on if installed. All interior is original. I did have the seat redone in 2013 and carpet put in when I had the body work done. The factory A/C blows cold at 44 degrees and still has the factory AM/FM radio with dash speaker that works perfectly. There is no cracks in the factory dash! I have taken this truck to truck shows in Springfield Missouri and have won 1st or 2nd place everytime. This awesome truck needs someone to drive her everyday. With kids, business, and farm to take care of I don't have the time anymore. There is just to much to explain about this one of a kind K30 they are getting harder and harder to find if you can. Please call me if you have any questions or if you would like to come see it with your own eyes. My name is Joshua I live in Jefferson City Missouri 573-680-4694. I also require a non refundable deposit within 48 hours of 2,000.00 dollars and final payment to be in a certified check from a bank within 5 days for full amount of purchase.

Now's the time to buy a cheap first-gen Chevy Volt
Fri, Sep 4 2015Would you fork over 18 grand and change for a new Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle? If so, there are some for the taking. Since the updated Volt is about ready to hit dealerships, current models have become a lot easier to afford. For some reason, it appears the best deals are in Iowa, recalling some sort of Field of Dreams-style whispering voice luring car shoppers to their first plug-in vehicle, according to EV Obsession. To wit, a couple of 2014 Volts with a sticker price in the $35,000 range are being offered for less than $26,000 in that Midwestern state. Factor in the $7,500 tax credit from the federal government, and the Volt can be had for less than the sticker price of a Toyota Prius C compact hybrid. Chevy started priming that particular pump earlier this year, though didn't appear to have a ton of success. This past spring, Chevrolet was offering some impressive lease deals on the Volt, with monthly payments dropping to less than $250. There's a reason buyers will want to wait for the second-generation Volt. The 2016 version will have a 53-mile all-electric range, up from the 38-mile range in the current version, along with 106 MPGe. Some will say that the style is improved as well, and the first-gen's touch-sensitive control panel was discarded for more buttons. Still, if you're more concerned about price than having the newest car on the lot, now's a good time to shop. And speaking of the current version, sales remain down substantially. Last month, Chevy moved 1,380 Volts, a 45-percent plunge from a year earlier. Through August, Volt sales were down 37 percent this year compared to 2014 numbers, to 8,315 units.
Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.
Why the Corvette is Chevrolet's billion-dollar baby
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Edmunds has worked up a piece that tries to figure out just how much the global Chevrolet Corvette economy is worth, a spitballed guesstimate putting the number at more than $2.5 billion with the proviso that the number is probably low. It starts by taking Corvette's new car sales of 14,132 units last year, which would equate to $714,725,900 (including destination) assuming ever car sold was a base coupe with no options. In the final tally, a little extra padding gets that number up to $750,000,000.
But that's not all. Consider this: Many of the almost 1.4 million Corvettes produced over the model's history are still on the road. There are new parts being produced and aftermarket companies like Mid-America Motorworks deaing business, that single Illinois company doing more than $40 million a year in sales. There are the Corvette events large and small, restorers who do nothing but Corvettes, salvage yards that deal only in used Corvette parts and the Corvette magazines where owners find all this stuff.
And then there are the Corvette-themed tchotchkes, every single one of which provides a tiny contribution to the huge licensing royalties that General Motors collects every year. The article admits there's no way to come to an accurate number, but it just goes to show how valuable one specific model can be to a company.
