This is a really cool 56 Chevy wagon. I am selling this car for a friend who said he just has too many other projects to complete this one. What we know is it has had a body off restoration. The underside has been gone through and any and all needed parts replaced then painted. It also has all new body mounts. The car has been lowered giving it a really cool look. The engine is fresh with lots of chrome and performance goodies and it runs and drives really strong. Has new dual exhaust with Flowmasters making it sound supper bad a_s. Has new beautiful custom wheels and tires. The seats have been upholstered, however the interior is not completed. The interior and exterior are missing a few parts but are all easy to get. The body has no rust(did have a little on floor pans but have been repaired). The body is primed and ready for paint. There is a few small holes in the roof from previous roof rack I think, but easily fixed. I want to emphasize this a project car and is being sold "as is", and what you see in the pic's is what you get. Race Recap: 2013 Twelve Hours of Sebring, cakewalk up front, grindfest out back [w/spoilers]

This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...

GM recalls 668,000 SUVs due to faulty anchor bars for child seats

DETROIT — General Motors is recalling more than 668,000 small SUVs in the U.S. because owners may not be able to hook child seats to the anchors. The recall covers certain 2020 to 2023 Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain SUVs. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says in documents posted on its website Thursday that the rear-seat lower anchor bars may have had too much powder coating. That could make them too thick and prevent a child seat from being installed. GM says no crashes or injuries have been reported. The automaker is asking owners to install child seats using the seatbelts until the latches are repaired. Dealers will inspect the anchors and replace the finish if necessary.
