1977 Chevy "Shorty Van" Van is in excellent condition! Looks, runs and drives awesome! The original owner who bought it brand new passed away 2008 leaving it to his best friend, who I purchased it from. When I purchased the van it had 84,700 actual miles. It has always been garaged and well taken care of, it has never been in a accident and has no rust whatsoever! This van came from the factory with a 305 V8 engine and a 350 Turbo Transmission, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tinted Glass, Chrome Bumpers, Gauges, Front Stabilizer, Cruise Control, pop Out Rear Windows, Delay Windshield Wipers. After I purchased it I had it completely gone through to make sure everything mechanical was it excellent working condition. Complete tune up, all new hoses and belts, new brakes, new HD shocks, transmission serviced, new battery, etc. The only issue is the air conditioning does not blow as cold as it should and will need to re charged. It has new custom paint, all new moldings, chrome, new glass, BF Goodrich tires with chrome Crager rims, chrome side pipes, complete interior by El Captian Vans, and a KILLER sound system!!! Probably one of the nicest vans around ,no disappointments this shorty is ready for cruise night or ready for show!!!

Chevy Corvette gets Valet Mode with Performance Data Recorder [w/video]
Mon, 18 Aug 2014For the 2015-model-year, Chevrolet introduces Valet Mode for the Corvette, an enhancement to the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) already available and to your peace of mind. The PDR already captures 720p HD video with a windshield-mounted camera, records interior audio with a cabin microphone and gathers telemetry data using GPS, saving the data to an SD card in the glovebox. You can then watch your track-day antics with various information overlays on the center console screen.
Valet Mode will let you hit 'Replay' when your car gets pulled up front smelling vaguely of fricasseed clutch. Turned on by entering a four-digit code, it also locks the interior storage spaces and turns off the infotainment system. It can't be turned off until the code is re-entered. Thu, 28 Feb 2013During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
