VERY NICE, RESTORABLE, VINTAGE 1969 EL CAMINO

This vehicle has a straight body, no rust and from my knowledge has not been in any accidents.  The body is in good restorable shape. I have most of the original parts and molding, door handles and taillights.  Vehicle has many new items such as the front bumper and newly recovered front seat, and new door panels.  I also have new parts that will be included such as the radiator, electric fans and switch etc.  I have most of the original outside chrome trim.  Headliner is also in good condition; rear-end was removed and sandblasted and painted.  Rear-end was also examined by certified mechanic and rendered in good condition.  There has been some work done from dings to the body and the tailgate may need to be replaced or fixed.

This vehicle has a brand new overhauled 350 complete turnkey engine.  With almost $1400 added in parts to the engine such as chrome, distributor, new carburetor and new blower pulleys.  I also have the front radiator support.  The engine is not installed; this vehicle is a roller and can be moved around.  This vehicle has an automatic 350 transmission that has been examined by a transmission shop and billed as being in great condition.

This vehicle is a very clean and restorable project.  Due to losing my leg in a motorcycle accident I am no longer able to complete the restoration.

This vehicle is located in Southern California and has a clean California title.   This vehicle is for sale locally so I reserve the right to remove this listing from EBay at any time.

There is no warranty on this vehicle expressed or implied and the shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Requirement of $500.00 down by Pay- Pal within 24 hours after sale closes and remainder due within 3 days through Pay- Pal.  Down payment will not be refunded.

GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC

Sun, 06 Oct 2013

American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting? 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible is the track car for sun worshippers

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
