NO RESERVE HIGH BIDDER WILL WIN up for sale is a 1963 corvair Monza 900 convertible with no reserve this car does run and drive. no brakes body has bondo and has been parked since 1985 in shed on concrete. interior is bad body has lots of bad spots. underneath of this car is very rusty .floor boards have been patched but rusted out again. frame is rusty with holes I don't know if its fixable or not you are more than welcome to come look at before buying I have a lift to check it out I did drive it down the road it goes though all 3 gears fine shakes on start out motor was fine but after running a lot it seems to have lifter noise on the right side not a knock the convertible top is bad all windows go up and down glass is good so more or less fix up use for parade or part it out this car will be sold as is with no warrenty if you would like more pics or any info on this please feel free to call me or email I will try to answer all questions to the best of my knolage 715-498-6592 thanks adam pictures do not show all bad spots if you would like to make a buy it now offer I would consider it |

Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Tue, 19 Mar 2013This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...
GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
