Chillicothe, Ohio, United States
1980 CHEVY 4X4 CHEYENNE 20 PICK-UP TRUCK I am selling a very nice 1980 Chevrolet Cheyenne Camper Special K-20 8,600 GVW 4x4 pick-up truck, this truck has a 6.6 liter 427 Big block engine that runs great. It has a 400 turbo trans. and a 205 transfer case that works great, shifts good and 4x4 works great. It has 4:10 gears in the rearends and all the brakes have been replaced, new master cylinder, pads and shoes. This truck has A/C, P/S, P/B, C/C, tilt-wheel, AM/FM radio all factory and all work. The truck has new 3 inch exhaust and flowmaster mufflers sounds very nice. It has brand new tires LT 285-75-16 10ply Toyo M/T open country and brand new rims lug nuts and center caps. Truck has dual tanks and both work. This truck came from Hillsboro, Oregon about 3 years ago, it has no rust on it anywhere, body is very straight with only a few scratches in the paint, other than that, paint is very nice. The interior is very nice too with just normal wear, all gauges work, all lights, heat and A/C. This truck runs and drives great-- it needs nothing it is very original just like it was in 1980. The bad: someone did not lube the hood hinges and bent the right hand side of the hood and did a poor repair. See pics. e-mail with any questions |

GM already raising prices on 2014 Silverado and Sierra pickups
Mon, 14 Oct 2013General Motors must be pretty pleased with sales of its two newest pickups, the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado, as it's announced price hikes for both models, as part of a planned price tweak.
Prices will be bumped by as much as $1,500, although weirdly, they'll be offset by as much as $1,500 in cash-back offers through the end of October. Fox Business reports that GM spokesman Jim Cain said of the price hike, "With the sell down of the '13 models nearly complete, this price adjustment was planned and is a normal part of business."
The move, as Fox is quick to point out, is an interesting one, as sales of the twin pickups struggled last month relative to the Ford F-Series, while both of GM's crosstown competitors have been aggressively undercutting Silverado and Sierra prices. The F-150 starts at $24,070 and the Ram 1500 comes in at $23,600, not counting any cash on the hood. A base Silverado, meanwhile, retails at $25,575.
Chevrolet Captiva looks mildly refreshed and ready for family duty
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We showed you Chevrolet's major debut yesterday, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, but General Motors is making a big push for Bowtie consideration in Europe, so it's also introducing the updated Captiva crossover here at the Geneva Motor Show.
While still based on the same platform as North America's fleet-only Captiva Sport (which is effectively a rebadged Saturn Vue), the Captiva is available in both five- and seven-seat iterations, and it looks far more modern. That's particularly the case with this updated model, which features revamped front- and rear ends that include restyled bumpers, grilles and LED taillamps, among other changes.
As before, the midsize Theta-platform CUV will be available in both front- and all-wheel drive, and is expected to carry a range of four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. Important US programming note: Chevrolet sources tell us that America's Captiva Sport will not receive these updates.
GM claims it's first to sell million 30+ mpg vehicles
Fri, 04 Jan 2013As we continue to put together all the data for the year-end edition of By The Numbers, General Motors has announced that it sold more than a million vehicles in the US last year that achieved at least 30 miles per gallon on the highway. More impressively, GM managed this feat using multiple strategies including small vehicle size, turbocharged engines and hybrid or plug-in technologies across four brands (Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC) accounting for 13 separate models. This number will grow even more in 2013 thanks to cars like the all-electric Spark, the diesel Cruze, the range-extended Cadillac ELR and the Buick Encore compact CUV.
GM's small car sales were up 39 percent last year helping to attain this million-sales mark for 30-mpg models, and almost 40 percent of all GM sales consisted of cars with fuel-efficient I4 engines. In regards to more advanced means of improving fuel economy, GM says that it plans on having 500,000 vehicles with "some form of electrification" on the road by 2017.
