Up for sale is my 1999 Chevrolet Camaro. This car has the 3.8 V-6 with an automatic transmission which does not leak, smoke, slip or make any wierd noises. The suspension is tight as the day it was new and has the "premium" chrome wheels with new tires on the rear and the fronts have about 80% tread remaining. I also have a set of wheels from a late 80's/early 90's Camaro that are painted satin black that will go with the car. Interior is in excellent condition other than a couple cracks on the top of the dash. Tinted windows and all the bells and whistles offered for the year and EVERYTHING works. Brakes are good and the exhaust is quiet. I would and do trust this car to go anywhere as long as you have gas!! If you have any questions, please ask before the auction is over. This car is sold in as-is condition and payment is to be made via Paypal within 3 days of auction end. If you all have not noticed, I am new to Ebay and please do not let that scare you.....I plan to stay on Ebay and with nothing but positive feedback. C7 Corvette turbo with 1,000 horsepower promised from Hennessey
Mon, 25 Feb 2013If you can't wait for the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Hennessey says they will have you covered. The Texas-based company has announced it will offer a spate of upgrades for the 2014 Corvette ranging from a range of bolt-on options all the way up to a 1,000-horsepower, twin-turbo system. Buyers can start with a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust or stainless steel long-tube headers, but Hennessey says it will also offer up three stages of forced induction mayhem should those bits and baubles not provide enough thrust.
Those choices start with a supercharger system good for up to 700 hp, though Hennessey will gladly ditch the blower in favor of two turbos. Doing so will spin the crank to the tune of 800 horsepower all the way up to a certifiably ludicrous 1,000 ponies. There's no word on how much these tricks will cost you - or when they will be available, as we're guessing they haven't gotten their hands on the car yet - but you can head over to the Hennessey site to drop them a line if you're curious.
Chevy exec confirms SS production model reveal at Daytona on Feb 16
Wed, 06 Feb 2013The 2014 Chevrolet SS will make its racing debut for the 2013 Daytona 500, but the production version of the car will get its official unveiling on February 16 in Daytona, a week before The Great American Race. According to a report by Automotive News, the reveal has been confirmed by Jim Campbell, Chevy's US vice president of performance and motorsports. With the departure of the Dodge Charger, the new Chevrolet racecar will be the only competitor to feature a V8, rear-wheel-drive layout in both street and NASCAR form.
NASCAR fans will be able to see the new fullsize performance-oriented sedan on display in the festivities leading up to the Daytona 500, but the car won't go on sale until later in the year. The Australian-built Chevy SS will be a low-volume performance model, and it will be priced above the 2014 Impala, which starts at $27,535.
