I am selling my 1991 Chevrolet Silverado. This truck has been great! It is in good condition with only minor scratches and one or two dents from normal everyday driving. The original engine that matches the Odometer was the 4.3L v6, but the truck now has a rebuilt 5.7L v8 with approximately 20,000 miles on it (I can get you exact milage if you would like.) Also the transmission was completely rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago. This truck is equipped with power locks, windows, and air conditioning! It has a Pioneer fold out radio (fold feature broken) complete with a CD player and wires run for Amp and Subwoofer hook up. The truck is also sporting ProComp Xterrian tires with approximately half tread left, Size is 285x16. I also have a set of 4 tires on basic rims that will come with the truck, they were the ones on there when I got the truck, and they have approximately half tread as well. Other notable features include: Straight Pipes, Bed Rails, Toolbox, and HID Xenon Lights that I installed, color intensity is 8000. Truck is a great everyday driver! Chevrolet SS previewed by Holden VF Commodore SS V show car
Thu, 14 Feb 2013It won't be long before we see the official, production-ready Chevrolet SS sedan (hint: it will be revealed this weekend). And to tide us over until all of the official details are released about the US-spec version, we have this: the Holden VF Commodore SS V show car, a performance-oriented brother to the Calais V that debuted earlier in the week.
What we really want to know about the SS V is what lies underhood, but General Motors' Australian arm is keeping that under wraps until the Chevy model breaks cover this weekend. Nevertheless, it's obvious that the SS V will be a serious performer, with all sorts of aggressive cues driving that home on the car's exterior. Take a look at those 20-inch billet aluminum wheels that hide big Brembo brake calipers up front, the sculpted hood and front fascia, the wide air intakes with LED running lights and the quad exhaust pipes out back. It's like the Pontiac G8 GXP never even left us.
Inside, there's a sporty-looking interior with aluminum accents that mix in with black leather and suede surfaces, all tied together in the middle with an eight-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system. It looks great, and again, while we don't know anything regarding powertrain details, it makes us oh-so happy to see a manual shifter smack dab in the middle of the center console.
Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out

General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.
