This is a rare 2004 Chevy Avalanche Southern Comfort Edition. Two tone blue to gray with an amazing paint job. Fully loaded on the inside with all the toys. Full leather seating with power and heat in the front. Bose CD sound system still sounds great. Custom 20 inch rims which can still clean up and look awesome. The tires are light, only about 30-35% left on them. Drives great....still smooth and strong. The engine is a 5.3L LS based motor with over 300hp...plenty of get up and go. The transmission shifts smooth, no issues, and the transfer case engages in high and low as it should...no issues. The interior is clean, with the only noticable issues being the sides of the seats...the wear on them is from getting in and out...very common...the drivers side is worse than the passenger side....but this is something that can be addressed for not too much money...and then the interior would be perfect. Custom paint with a full ground effects package round out the exterior....also it does have the factory trailer tow package...so its ready to go and do what ever you need it to. Anyone who knows the LS motors, knows that 150k on them is nothing, they have been documented to go much, much, MUCH more than that...especially when they are taken care of...which after looking at this truck and driving it...this one was not abused. Final C6 Corvette built in Bowling Green
Fri, 01 Mar 2013With all of the attention given to the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray lately, you could be forgiven for thinking that it's already well along in production, yet tooling up for the new C7 has only just begun. In fact, production of the outgoing C6 generation in Bowling Green, Kentucky just halted on Thursday.
As the C6 has aged, production numbers have predictably ebbed along with demand, but this year, the addition of the 427 and 60th anniversary models resulted in an uptick in vehicles built - this, despite a model year shortened by around 25 percent to accomodate the new model changeover. The final C6 Corvette ever, No. 13,466 built this year, was a white 427 Convertible destined for the General Motors Heritage Center museum. The car's 7.0-liter V8 heart was assembled by Corvette chief engineer Tadge Juechter himself.
In total, Bowling Green pushed out 215,100 C6 Corvettes over nine years. If you're still a C6 fan at heart and are hoping to get a good deal on a phase-out model, step lively - Chevrolet reportedly had about 6,100 unsold units, which Autoweek suggests is good for around five and a half months of supply at the model's current sales rates. Given that demand will likely slacken even further as the C7 draws closer, that should be a big enough stockpile to keep dealers satisfied until 2014 Stingrays begin showing up on their forecourts in December.

GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015
Mon, 25 Feb 2013General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.
