Clean used adult owned and driven, I am the original owner and purchased it from Herb Easley VW in Wichita Falls, Texas. No mechanical problems with this car whatsoever. I use this car to drive to and from work and no longer need it. 15580 miles on the TDI Diesel engine. Great fuel mileage anywhere from 38 to 49 mpg depending on how you drive and the terrain you are in. The clean burning and quite diesel engine has plenty of acceleration and power. I put the seat covers on the front seats to protect the leather like I said I use the car to and from work. We do not live in the city so it has been driven on dirt roads and paved. Used but not abused. All maintenance has been performed at the VW dealership in Wichita Falls Texas. Extended warranty will transfer to the new owner. I am not positive but the XM radio has a few months left on it as well. It has the MP3 hookup and bluetooth for you smart phone. The passenger seat has only been used a few times and the backseat has never had a butt in it. It has a couple of blemishes on the exterior but only a few scratches and small dings. Nothing major and the car has never been wrecked.
The winning bidder is responsible for any shipping, I will assist in loading but that's it. Winning bidder will have to pay $1000.00 deposit via PayPal to hold vehicle and balance is due in the form of cash, cashiers check or certified bank check before vehicle will be released. There is a note on the car, therefore I do not have the clear title in hand. The title will be released after full payment is received.
As the owner and seller of this 2012 VW Jetta, I reserve the right to refuse any buyers and reserve the right to end the auction early due to being for sale locally.
So if you are looking for a really good car that gets great fuel mileage and has plenty of room and plenty of power, this car is for you.

2015 VW Golf R caught getting a flogging on 'Ring
Wed, 22 May 2013The upcoming version of the Volkswagen Golf R is nearly ready for prime time, if this video of the car flying around the Nürburgring is any indication. The all-wheel-drive R seems to make quick, neat work of the corners we see here, and sounds pretty devilish in the process.
Expectations are that the new Golf R will run a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder (what else?), tuned to produce even more than the current car's 256 horsepower. (Some sources have indicated outputs as high as 286 horsepower, with 280 pound-feet of torque. It's still not clear if Volkswagen will bring the six-speed dual-clutch transmission to the US-spec Golf R in this next go-round or if we'll stick to having only... eh... the stick.
In either case - watching the video below will only whet your appetite for the new, highest performing member of the Golf family.
GM outsold VW globaly in first quarter, Toyota reports numbers next week
Thu, 18 Apr 2013General Motors released its first quarter sales figures this week, reporting that it sold 2.36 million cars and trucks worldwide. That figure represents an increase of 3.6 percent when compared to the same period last year. GM's growth was attributed to many factors, including global Cadillac sales that were up 26 percent and Chevrolet posting a one percent increase over last year (this marked Chevy's tenth straight year of record global sales).
Volkswagen came in just behind GM, as the German automaker reported global sales from January through March at 2.27 million vehicles, an increase of five percent when compared to last year. While that number was strong, VW is cautioning that markets outside China and the US, such as those in Europe, are becoming a challenge as economies falter.
Yet to report sales is Toyota, current holder of the global world sales crown (the Japanese company sold 9.75 million cars last year, against 9.29 million sold by GM and 9.1 million vehicles sold by VW). Even though GM and Toyota both say they don't care who sells the most units, it is unquestionably a strong bragging point and sales equate to revenue. That said, Toyota will report its first quarter numbers next week.
Anti-union group files lawsuit against VW and UAW
Fri, 14 Mar 2014The fight for unionization at Volkswagen's Chattanooga, TN, factory isn't letting up. Yesterday, the National Labor Relations Board decided to allow anti-United Auto Workers employees at the plant the right to defend voting down the measure. Now, a group called the National Right to Work Foundation has filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of five workers against VW and the UAW for allegedly working together to organize.
The group says in a release that it wants "to block further collusion between the company and the United Auto Workers." It alleges that VW forced workers to attend "mandatory pro-union meetings" and prevented managers from opposing. In a rebuttal on its website, the UAW called the claims "baseless" and said its actions were entirely legal.
One possible problem faces the carmaker in regards to the lawsuit. According to the Detroit Free Press, a recent US Court of Appeals ruling found that neutrality agreements like the one the business had with the UAW could be illegal if the company provided "things of value" to the union. The newspaper also claims that VW held a mandatory employee meeting concerning the election, but workers were free to leave during the UAW's presentation.
