I have listed the condition of the truck already. I invite anyone interested to come look, inspect, and drive it. I have added an Alpine amplifier, driving 2 sets of Boston Acoustics PRO SE component speakers, which were professionally installed.The doors and part of the dash have been Dynamat installed at the same time as the speakers. The inside of the truck is very quiet without the radio on, and is very clear and loud with it on. I am including in the sale, as well, the remainder of my SiriusXM radio subscription. Not sure the length of time, probably about 5 or 6 months.
The truck has a factory installed bedliner, and also has a tow receiver with some sort of adapter included (never used). Also, this truck has a remote starter installed at the dealer at time of purchase. The truck was purchased locally, from the dealer less than 3 miles away. Never had any problems. As an incentive of getting my asking price or close enough to it, I will have the truck detailed thoroughly (IN and OUT) at a shop. I am still making payments on the truck, final sale price will consist of the buyer making the payoff payment to the bank, with the balance being paid in cash or cashiers check to me. Depending on the location of the buyer, I will take the truck to them once the payment is made. I will write out a bill of sale and both buyer and seller will get notarized copies. I will not ship this vehicle. I will work with the buyer to the best of my ability to make the transaction go smoothly. Toyota fills in details about its future design direction and global platform

Almost all of the details about the Toyota New Group Architecture (TNGA) strategy have come out since the initiative was first reported on in March of this year, but Autoblog did learn a few new things about it on a recent trip to Japan. Probably the second-most important detail is that each new segment platform will be based around a common hip point to create an "optimal driving position architecture."
Toyota to recall 185k cars globally, including Yaris
Thu, 04 Jul 2013Toyota has announced it is recalling a total of 185,000 vehicles worldwide for a power steering issue. Yaris and (overseas) Vitz models built between November 2010 and March 2012 could suffer a short circuit in their power steering control module if water gets inside. Should that happen, the power steering could fail, increasing effort when turning. The recall also includes the Verso-S and Ractis built from August 2010 to August 2011. The recall covers 130,000 vehicles in Japan and around 22,450 in Europe.
Only 74 units are being recalled in the United States.
Toyota says if the fault occurs, the vehicle will display the Electronic Power Steering warning light on the dash and a buzzer will sound. The automaker will alert owners by mail and dealers will replace the power steering control module free of charge. You can read the quick press release on the recall below for more information.
Toyota's Lentz says fuel cells are the future, not EVs
Sun, 25 May 2014Toyota is not bullish on EVs. That comes from the company's North American CEO, Jim Lentz, who said the company will focus not on electrification, but on continued hybridization with a long-term focus on hydrogen fuel cells.
Lentz questioned the long-range ability of EVs, saying that Toyota feels "there are better alternatives, such as hybrids and plug-in hybrids, and tomorrow with fuel cells." Lentz spoke about Toyota's focus on hydrogen following Forbes Brainstorm Green conference and barely a week after a battery deal between Tesla and Toyota ended, according to Automotive News.
That deal provided for 2,500 battery packs for the Rav4 EV. While valuable to Toyota, the deal "was never about open-ended volume," Lentz said. "It was time to either continue or stop. My personal feeling was that I would rather invest my dollars in fuel cell development than in another 2,500 EVs."
