1999 SATURN SL2 ******PICK UP ONLY!******

Up for auction is a blue 4 door 1999 saturn sl2. It is in good condition with only minor dings and scratches. Runs great and gets excellent gas mileage. It has a cd player in it, cruise control, power locks, center console, air conditioning and heat. I believe it has a small exhaust leak, but is not a problem. Check engine light is not on so there is no problem passing inspection. Does need two new front tires and a headliner. Does not currently have a headliner in it. Has but not pictured a brand new battery and hubcaps! Engine is 4 cylinder and has 157,557 miles on it. Interior is tan, and has a few spots that could be shampooed out. Also as original floor mats in it. Sold as is with no warranty. Has a salvage title, but has been completely redone before I purchased it. This is a great car and runs excellent. It is great to drive back and forth to work everyday. I have never had any problems out of this car before, and I have had it for over 7 years. I just have two kids, and it is time to upgrade to something larger. If you have any questions about anything I may have forgotten to mention please feel free to message me. THIS CAR IS FOR PICK UP ONLY! WILL NOT BE SHIPPED!!!!

Report: GM temporarily restarts Saturn Outlook, Hummer H3 production

Even though both the Saturn and Hummer brands are being phased out, General Motors has reportedly revived production of both the Outlook crossover and H3 SUV to meet consumer demands.
Last month, GM assembled 1,037 Outlooks at its Lansing, Michigan facility, which is where the crossover's Lamda platform stablemates (Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia) are built. A spokesperson for GM states that production was reinstated to utilize the rest of the Saturn-specific material at the facility, and that the automaker will continue to assemble the Outlook for a few more weeks.

NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
