Porsche Boxster, 2.7L, OBC, 17" wheels, Bose, Wind deflector, cruise control, excellent interior condition, paint looks like new, exterior gray color and light gray interior, top in pristine condition, 3M film on front fenders and hood, front tires have 4k miles, new front shocks, new engine and transmission mounts. The car has 102k miles and the engine has only 70k miles and was replaced with a new one from the factory at the Porsche dealer, the old engine had the RMS leaking. All service records since new, all services performed as specified by Porsche, smog check done. The car has a clean title and no lien, I just paid it off. The car is in excellent running condition, 2 very small dents no paint damage from parking on the front right side. Selling it as I am upgrading to a 997 carrera, the brand grew on me. I am the 3rd owner and had the car for almost 2 years. The car will be released once the funds are cleared. The car is available for local pick-up, I am available to help if the buyer organizes a transport, to have the car ready for pick-up.

Leno steals Porsche 918 from The Quail for latest Garage episode
Sat, 31 Aug 2013Just because he's a famous celebrity doesn't mean Jay Leno got to take it easy at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance earlier this month. Having already spent some time with the gorgeous Cadillac Elmiraj Concept and Ed Welburn for a recent episode of Jay Leno's Garage, the late night talk show host also got to put a few miles on a prototype version of the Porsche 918 Spyder.
Like a usual episode of JLG, Leno first goes over the details of the car with Frank Walliser, head of the 918 Spyder's development, before taking it out for spin. Check out the full episode, which is posted below, to hear what Walliser has to say about the car. More importantly, though, crank up your computer's volume and let the car's high-revving engine and amazing exhaust note do plenty of talking for itself.
Amelia Island 2013: Porsche 911 swarms the field marking 50 years of rear-engine goodness
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Perhaps one of the most iconic sports cars in the world, it was no surprise that the Porsche 911 showed up in numbers to the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. Although the original 911 launched 50 years ago, the original and current models are instantly recognizable as 911s, and since the 911 has a storied racing background, there were probably just as many racing versions of the coupe as there were street-legal versions.
As the show's 2013 honoree, one of the prime racing examples was a 1970 Porsche 911 S raced by Sam Posey. There were so many cars in attendance, we didn't know where to look, but a 1985 911 Speedster concept and a Porsche-owned, rally-ready 911 Type 953 were definitely among the more impressive standouts. As an added bonus, Jacksonville-based Brumos Porsche had many of its classic racecars on display including a beautiful 959.
2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed statue unveiled
Thu, 11 Jul 2013Each year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a single marque is celebrated with a large and ornate "Central Feature" sculpture, with recent automakers including Audi in 2009, Alfa Romeo in 2010, Jaguar in 2011 and Lotus last year. This year, Porsche gets the honor, and it is using the opportunity to commemorate 50 years of the 911.
The sculpture features three generations of the 911 towering over the Goodwood House. The most recent 991 911 has the lowest position, with an original 1963 car second highest and a 1973 2.7 RS at the top of the pile. Be sure to check out the sculpture for yourself in the gallery of images above.
