1986 Porsche 944 Turbo NO RESERVE I have a shop where we build vehicles but this one is actually one of my personal vehicles. I love the car, it is a blast to drive and hugs the road like very few other cars I have enjoyed. The Pictures and Video will be the best gauge of condition, I have included a lot so that you can get the best idea possible. Here is a little of what has been done. But first: the odometer has not been working ever since I did the motor and clutch work. After the work I noticed it and since this is not my daily driver I did not care. Also, the power steering was leaking a little and since I prefer the feel of manual steering I removed the power steering belt. So currently no power steering but installing a belt again will give it back to you. Most of these things have been done in the last 1k miles
I know I am missing things that I don't remember right now, that car looks great and is a blast to drive! I also installed front aero nose piece to keep the front tires on the road Take your time to enjoy the pictures and video, if you have questions feel free to ask I will be sad to see her go, but I know who ever wins the car will really love it.

Meet the man that discovered and restored the oldest existing Porsche
Tue, 11 Mar 2014Luciano Rupolo is an absolutely fascinating gentleman. He was born in France but spent nearly his entire life in Italy as an auto mechanic running his own shop. His grandfather and father instilled a love of sports cars in him that he carried on by historic racing in Italy for decades. He saw his life-long automotive passion repaid when he found and restored the car that might have been the first Porsche registered for the road.
You can spot in his garage a split-window Corvette, Ferrari 250 GTE and other exotics, but Rupolo's most interesting automotive story concerns his Iso Grifo Competizione (pictured above). The sports coupe was found in the Canary Islands as little more than a shell, but Rupolo got help from a prestigious source for its restoration. The result is a motoring masterpiece.

Porsche 911 GT2 caught testing, is super bad
Thu, 27 Jun 2013Look what spy photographers have spotted sprinting around the Nürburgring. Our shooters nabbed a few photos of the all-new Porsche 911 GT2 in its native habitat without any of the bulky camouflage or cladding we're used to seeing. The result is our first truly clear view at the upcoming successor to the GT2 throne. From the looks of it, the new model will boast wider fender arches front and rear, and hefty air intakes set into the machine's hips should help feed a beastly 3.8-liter flat six-cylinder engine. Early guesses put the engine output somewhere around 560 horsepower.
Mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the engine should propel this rear-engined heathen to 62 miles per hour in under three seconds. Top speed? Try somewhere around 200 mph. If that's true, the next-generation 911 GT2 will be the fastest 911 in Porsche history.
