Hello, you are viewing my 1987 Porsche 928S4 with 76,147 miles. This Porsche is in WONDERFUL condition that is well maintained (over $18,000.00 maintenance receipts in the past 6,000 miles). The silver paint is in great condition with a great shine. (some small imperfection or chips) The burgundy interior is in great condition. No rips or tears in the leather (small wear marks on drivers bolster). The dash does have some cracks; vinyl material is cracked by the drives door lock button. Headliner and carpet are in good condition. Overall very nice and presentable! Mechanically the car is EXCELLENT! Runs, drives and shifts perfect. I have over $18,000.00 in maintenance receipts, that include timing belt, water pump, AC Compressor, evaporator and hoses (134a). Devek Performance Radiator,transmission and oil cooler. Rebuilt transmission and torque tube,new distributor caps and wires and MUCH MUCH more. Everything works as it should. The heat blows hot and the air conditioner blows cold . Tires and 17" cup wheels are newer with less than 1,000 miles on them. I would not hesitate to drive this car on a 2000 mile road trip. Also included are tools, books and record. The car is sold in “As Is Condition”. I do welcome and encourage pre-sale inspections. I am a car collector and it is time to pass it on to another collector. Infiniti cribs new US boss from Porsche
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Just weeks before he was supposed to become CEO of Porsche Cars Australia, Infiniti has apparently offered Porsche COO and Executive Vice President Michael Bartsch a deal he couldn't refuse. Thus, Bartsch has join the company as Vice President of Infiniti Americas, the luxury marque's top North American post. Bartsch replaces Ben Poore, who has been with the automaker since 2008, having led both a 22-percent sales surge in 2012 and the brand's current sales slough, Automotive News reports.
Bartsch, Porsche's No. 2 US executive, has held the COO and Executive Vice President positions at Porsche since 2005 and was scheduled to become CEO of Porsche's Oz division on September 1. Infiniti has experienced a number of recent personnel changes in the past week: it named Vincent Gillet, formerly an executive for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, to lead its marketing efforts worldwide and Simon Cox, a former designer for automakers including Ford and Peugeot, to head a new design studio in London.

Race Recap: 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans defines 'endurance'
Mon, 16 Jun 2014Commenting on the rush of events that rocked beginning and end of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Paul Truswell of Radio Le Mans said "the race is about the ability to endure, not just the ability of drivers to do what they do for a long time." The entire race machine, all the way down to the pit boards and radios, has to survive the stress and abuse of the entire day. This was the race to prove those words.
There were two Toyotas, two Porsches and three Audis, five of the seven led the race at some point, six of the seven ran in the top three. Toyota will be hugely disappointed that it didn't win when its car and drivers were so, so strong, but they gave Audi the kind of scare we haven't seen since the best of Peugeot's days, and Toyota did a better job of it even in the loss. Porsche blew away everyone's expectations, falling 3.5 hours short of a fairy tale ending that would have made Disney cry.
But Le Mans doesn't really do fairy tales. Well, not that fairy tale. Audi's Twitter handle during the event was #welcomechallenges. As usual, Le Mans answered for the entire field.
Amelia Island 2013: Porsche 911 swarms the field marking 50 years of rear-engine goodness
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Perhaps one of the most iconic sports cars in the world, it was no surprise that the Porsche 911 showed up in numbers to the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. Although the original 911 launched 50 years ago, the original and current models are instantly recognizable as 911s, and since the 911 has a storied racing background, there were probably just as many racing versions of the coupe as there were street-legal versions.
As the show's 2013 honoree, one of the prime racing examples was a 1970 Porsche 911 S raced by Sam Posey. There were so many cars in attendance, we didn't know where to look, but a 1985 911 Speedster concept and a Porsche-owned, rally-ready 911 Type 953 were definitely among the more impressive standouts. As an added bonus, Jacksonville-based Brumos Porsche had many of its classic racecars on display including a beautiful 959.
