This car is my baby....... I do not want to sell this car at all. .... I will be regretting this for a long time. Wife is pregnant with number 3.... have to sell my playtoys to make room for baby toys...

1998 WS6 trans am. True ws6 car with original 61,800 miles. This car is a true cherry, this was the main reason I had to have this car. Paint is near flawless and showroom condition. Always stored inside and never seen snow. The is two extremely minor dings above passenger wheel ( would only notice if looking for ) and very small scuff on right rear bumper..... body is a 9 out of 10. Newly detailed and catches everyones eye.

The interior is even cleaner 9.5 out of 10. no scuffs in seats let alone tears. Dash is near perfect and still looks new. Back seat I don't think has been sat in. Tinted windows. It has an aftermarket JVC Chameleon deck and all mtx speakers.

T56 -- 6 speed trans. Shifts excellent no hangups at all... upgraded LS7 cluch and flywheel.

Now the bread and butter.

This car is extremely fast and has over $11,000 in performance receipts to go with it. Engine is an LS2 that was purchased for performance build. NOT a take out.

LS2 aluminum block with LS2 Polished rotating assembly.

This car has a ton of work and performance parts added to it..... But it still has a great stock WS6 look and Phenomenal Sound ....I have a dyno sheet on this car at 490 hp at the rear wheels. Will still get 21 MPG on the Expressway. the best part is all these upgrades were done less than 3000 miles ago. I do not want to sell this car... don't hesitate this car wont last.

Can help setup delivery anywhere in the US or will help ship overseas also !!! Flint Bishop airport is 20 mins from my home. Will assist with pickup at airport if you would like to drive home. I would drive this car to florida and back. gets great gas mileage in 6th gear.

General Lee takes on Bandit T/A in classic Hollywood car showdown [w/poll]

Fri, 26 Aug 2011

You don't have to be born in the 1960s or 1970s to be able to recognize the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard and the Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit. These old school four-wheeled stars seem to transcend demographics thanks to the miles of film that show the orange 1969 Dodge Charger and the jet-black 1977 Pontiac Trans Am performing seemingly impossible stunts.
The folks at Hot Rod magazine are obviously hip to this fact, and they put together a fun video in tribute of the instantly recognizable duo. Hit the jump to watch on as Sam Young and James Smith replace Bo Duke and The Bandit for a bit of dirt-road shenanigans in a pair of otherwise well cared for classics. We're not so sure we'd call it the best chase scene ever, but it sure looks like a lot of fun.
More importantly, which of these two cars would you rather own? Have your say in our poll below.

GM repairing 40,500 Pontiac Vibes as part of Toyota airbag recall

Wed, 09 Apr 2014

General Motors has confirmed to Autoblog that the Pontiac Vibe is included in Toyota's just-announced recall action. The Vibe and the Toyota Matrix share a large number of parts, including the affected cable to the airbag.
"About 40,500 Pontiac Vibes from the 2009-2010 model years are included in the Toyota recall. Toyota designed and engineered the Vibe for Pontiac. GM will service customers with these vehicles when Toyota makes the parts available," said GM recall spokesperson Alan Adler to Autoblog in an email.
The recall covers 1.3 million Toyota units in the US, including 2009-2010 Corolla, Matrix and Tacoma, the 2008-2010 Highlander, the 2006-2008 Rav4 and 2006-2010 Yaris, plus the addition of the 2009-2010 Vibe. The models all have their airbag module attached via a spiral electrical cable. The connections on this cable can be damaged when turning the steering wheel. Once broken, the airbag deactivates and the airbag warning light comes on. Toyota has an improved part, but it's still making preparations to begin repairs. It will begin notifying owners soon.

Rumormill: DeLorean Motor Company considering rescuing Pontiac Solstice?

DeLorean Motor Company Pontiac Solstice renderings - Click above for high-res image gallery
General Motors has made a science out of sharing platforms. So when the company's Kappa platform was introduced for a new rear-drive roadster to be distributed across three different motor divisions, you'd have figured the program was pretty safe, right? Unfortunately for the workers at the Wilmington Assembly Plant which manufactured the Kappa roadsters, those three divisions were Pontiac, Saturn and Opel - three units which the General has either sold or shut down. Which is a shame, because a perfectly good rear-drive roadster platform is a heck of a thing to waste.
In one of the strangest rumors we've heard recently, however, our compatriots over at Jalopnik report that the DeLorean Motor Company (yes, that DeLorean Motor Company) is considering buying the plant and the platform from GM and putting it back into production as a new DMC.
