Up for your consideration is this 1961 Pontiac Lemans Convertible heres another one that has been put away for years waiting for somebody to revive Looks like half of a V8 engine 195 cu in 4 cyl mated to a manual 4 speed trans shows some rust in the middle of the floor boards , but the rest of the body is looking good. It comes with California lien sale papers and a bill of sale which is a clean title in this state check with your states DMV to see if they accept California lien sale papers, or a bill of sale. (You are buying it as is ask questions first.)

Tony Stewart to star in Smoke Is The Bandit web series
Mon, 10 Mar 2014NASCAR driver Tony Stewart is making good use of his nickname Smoke in new videos inspired by the 1970s classic Smokey and the Bandit. The original is one of the quintessential automotive movies of its era with a fantastic combination of slapstick comedy and great car stunts in a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. If you've never seen it, check it out immediately.
In the new six-part Smoke IS the Bandit web series, Stewart takes on the role of Burt Reynolds' famous character complete with huge mustache. But instead of trying to smuggle cases of Coors beer it's Mobil 1 oil. The series promises to recreate many of the famous scenes from the movie and includes cameos from other NASCAR drivers.
To complete the look, future videos just need a quality replacement for a young Sally Field to ride shotgun. It would also be really cool if Reynolds could make a brief appearance at some point. Scroll down to check out the trailer and the first episode in the series.

If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?

Trans Am Depot teases 2014 GTO
Mon, 24 Jun 2013Here comes the Judge. Court is in session. The verdict is in. How many more tired clichés can we come up with? It hardly seems to matter, because it's happening: Trans Am Depot has announced via the teaser video below that it is launching a 2014 GTO, complete with Carousel Red (bright orange, really) paint and full Judge badging.
The car is based on Trans Am Depot's 6T9 Goat, which, in case you don't get the reverential references, is meant to mimic the look of the 1969 Pontiac GTO. As with the company's other cars -including the 2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am we recently drove - the GTO will be based on the current Chevy Camaro, which means two doors, V8 engines and rear-wheel drive, just like the muscle cars of days past.
As for actual details of what's under the 2014 GTO's hood, we're completely left hanging. We'd expect some sort of power adder (turbo, supercharger or possibly some other form of a highly massaged version of the Camaro's V8), and we certainly know that GM has any number of hi-po crate engines to choose from.
