This 1976 FORMULA is a solid unmolested unaltered all original car.Runs and drives great.I have owned it for three years now and never finished it.It has the original 350 in it now but I am including with the car a fresh built 400 for it.The body is in really nice shape. The only rust is a couple of surface spots where the paint has chipped off.The only body damage is on the rear of the driver door.It is pretty minor and is pictured. There are numerous paint defects and the car really needs a fresh paint job.Previous owner tore the body side moldings off.Underside is virtually rust free only small amount of light surface rust at rear of car.Trunk interior is spotless and has original padded mat fire extinguisher and original unused space saver spare with inflator bottle. The interior is really pretty nice but could also use some freshening up.the driver seat has one possibly the old screwdriver in the back pocket hole. The plastic lower door panels are pretty crispy. The carpet has turned orange and a small chunk is missing on the drivers side. The dash and pad as well as steering wheel and console are very nice. All the gauges work.Condition of A/C unknown.Blower fan runs even in off position?I am including the engine I had built for it to replace the 350.It is a 75 400 Completely rebuilt.I will include all paperwork for the engine. The particulars are,TRW forged pistons,COMP CAMS 262H,full roller rockers, larger exhaust valves, chrome molly rings,ARP studs and bolts, stainless valves, deburred lifter galley, balanced reciprocating assembly.Car hauler in pictures is not included.I am starting it out at $6,000 with no reserve.I have over $3,000 in the engine alone. So if you have the time money and ambition this will make a nice musclecar for you

Trans Am Depot teases 2014 GTO
Mon, 24 Jun 2013Here comes the Judge. Court is in session. The verdict is in. How many more tired clichés can we come up with? It hardly seems to matter, because it's happening: Trans Am Depot has announced via the teaser video below that it is launching a 2014 GTO, complete with Carousel Red (bright orange, really) paint and full Judge badging.
The car is based on Trans Am Depot's 6T9 Goat, which, in case you don't get the reverential references, is meant to mimic the look of the 1969 Pontiac GTO. As with the company's other cars -including the 2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am we recently drove - the GTO will be based on the current Chevy Camaro, which means two doors, V8 engines and rear-wheel drive, just like the muscle cars of days past.
As for actual details of what's under the 2014 GTO's hood, we're completely left hanging. We'd expect some sort of power adder (turbo, supercharger or possibly some other form of a highly massaged version of the Camaro's V8), and we certainly know that GM has any number of hi-po crate engines to choose from.
Lutz says Washington killed Pontiac, next G6 was to be ATS derivative
Tue, 29 Oct 2013How many people think Buick or GMC should have gotten the axe instead of Pontiac? You can't see it, but I'm raising my hand. Autoweek reports that former Vice Chairman of GM, Bob Lutz, has indicated that things didn't have to end up the way they did.
"The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.'"
In a talk given at the Petersen Automotive Museum for the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, Lutz says "The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.' So, it goes. And when the guy who is handing you the check for $53 billion says, 'I don't want Pontiac, drop Pontiac or you don't get the money,' it doesn't take you very long to make up your mind." Lutz even added that the next-generation Pontiac G6 would have benefitted from the rear-wheel-drive platform of the Cadillac ATS. How awesome would that have been?
2008-2009 Pontiac G8 recalled over airbag concern
Mon, 07 Nov 2011General Motors is recalling around 38,000 Pontiac G8 sedans from its 2008 and 2009 model years. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that the cars may have a passenger-side airbag flaw that might prevent proper deployment in certain scenarios.
According to NHTSA, the airbag might not adequately protect a fifth percentile woman - that is, a woman around four-foot, 11-inches weighing 108 pounds. The New York Times indicates that the anomaly was found during a crash test conducted by GM's Australian branch, Holden, which was testing the G8's twin (read: Commodore) for head injuries. According to that report, the test in question is specifically tailored to simulate injuries to females, so the results do not apply to men or children.
The issue has been blamed on a seat position sensor that governs airbag deployment rates. NHTSA indicates that when the front passenger seat is moved all the way forward, the faulty sensor may inappropriately trigger a 30-millisecond delay between airbag stages, potentially leading to greater injuries.
