NO RESERVE OR BUY IT NOW.............Selling for a friend who bought it for his son for graduation and the son wants a Honda so i offered to put it up on Ebay for him.

Solid car, has a clean California title..3rd owner.Runs and drives great no over heating or check engine lights on or have even come on since we have had it. But has some convenience issues that do not work but i will get into that. First some history, Bought new in 95 and driven and serviced at a MBZ Dealership by the same guy up until the 170K mark as we have the documentation for that. The second owner did quite a bit of work to it before we got it. It had the front air bags replaced in 2009, The transmission gone through and just before we got it it had the radiator flushed, water pump, radiator hoses and a belt by the MBZ dealer he used. The 2nd owner did not give us any documentation to back it up but you can tell. The car you can tell the car has been loved and well maintained. TAGS are paid until April of 2014.

The car runs and drives great and since we have had it it has received new brakes front and rear with new rotors on the front. German made 20" chrome wheels with 245/35/R20 Nexens, aligned and balanced. This car drives nice on the highway you loose some of the ride quality do to the low profile tires but still nice.

The engine and chassis are really clean for its age and not all nasty and greasy. Starts right up with no smoke and passes smog no problem The only leak i see is coming from the power steering pump.

The Silver/ Light Charcoal two tone paint on the body still shines nice and it does have a few small dings here and there but nothing major and i have not found any rust.

The Grey leather interior is still real nice as is the carpet.Nice tint on the windows. Nice windshield. The worst parts of the interior id the driver seat and steering wheel, both are well worn....the wood is still real nice.

The trunk is still real nice as well with one bad spot on the trunk mat. It has a new Die Hard battery, an un-used tool kit, jack and a 20" spare tire.

This is WHAT WORKS: All lights inside and out, turn signals, hazzard, horn, wipers, rear window defogger, sunroof, power one touch windows, power seats, seat heaters, power steering, power 4 wheel disc brakes, A/C, cruise control, all gauges and idiot lights, auto seat belt handers, tilt/ telescopic steering wheel.

This is what DOES NOT WORK: The central lock pump(it controls auto closing doors, auto locks, lumbar) The heater monovalve (controls the heater) Radio comes on but only a few of the speakers work, the power antenna does not come up and the power headrests do not work. None of this affects drive ability as the locks lock by the key.

Over all its still a really nice car, fun to drive, still has great power and still gets plenty of looks. This car will go the distance for sure.Have all the owners books... I even have the ORIGINAL window sticker and the price in 95 was $94,000..IT is not perfect but it is still a great car for not alot of money
Look this car up and see the immenities that this car comes with........ it was way ahead of its time.<PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS>

As Always this car is sold AS..IS....No warranty expressed written or implied.

Mercedes-Benz releases US-spec 2014 Sprinter details

Mon, 06 May 2013

Last week, Mercedes-Benz released the details for the updated 2013 Sprinter intended for global markets, but this week it has announced what changes are being made to the US-spec version of the van for the 2014 model year, including the Freightliner model. As expected, most of the changes made to the European model will be present on the 2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter when it goes on sale in the US, which is expected to be this fall.
The biggest difference between the Sprinter announced last week and the one headed to our shores is what is found under the hood. While European Sprinters will come with diesel engines and offer the availability of a supercharged four-cylinder gasoline or CNG engine, US Sprinters will still offer the 3.0-liter V6 BlueTEC diesel. This year's Sprinter now comes standard with a new base engine, the 2.1-liter four-cylinder BlueTEC diesel. This smaller engine will produce 161 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque, and will be paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission; the optional 3.0 V6 puts out 188 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque, and will be mated to a six-speed auto.
Fuel economy for the new Sprinter has not been announced, but Mercedes-Benz has made numerous changes with the goal of improving efficiency. To this end you'll find a new, low-friction rear axle and the optimization for the generator, fuel pump and power steering pump.

Rare Isdera Imperator 108i flexes its considerable muscles

Mon, 05 Aug 2013

The Isdera Imperator 108i is a remarkably rare supercar from the late 80s and early 90s. Born of a Mercedes-Benz concept car, it's powered by a range of AMG-developed V8s, with five to six liters of displacement, depending on the engine. The example shown here, lapping the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit, features the most potent 6.0-liter V8 available. And rather than just being driven about on a perfectly clean racing line, it's freaking power sliding!
Yes, there's something eternally childlike about a wedge-shaped supercar from our formative years being flung about a Belgian racetrack. Adding to the appeal is the Imperator's stumpy, periscopic rear mirror, sticking out of the roof. Even after being out of production for 20 years, this is still a wild, wild car and we'd happily snap up the opportunity pilot one of the 36 Isderas that were built. Take a look below for the full video from Spa.

Mercedes Makes A Mighty Little Sedan
We got overexcited when the W203 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan came out in 2001, calling it the "Baby Benz" when it really wasn't. We knew that, too, but our enthusiasm for a model more like the old 190 of the '80s was so strong that we were willing to stretch the first-gen C-Class to fit that mold. Today, the C-Class has done what all German premium cars do: grown in size. In this case, grown to satisfy the market intentions of the previous E-Class.
There was the tall A-Class sold from 1998 through 2010, but we never considered that a serious small Benz in the proper spirit, nor was it ever offered in the US. Regardless, we've been craving a smaller, premium, sexy sedan all the while.
