Welcome to a phenomenal opportunity. You are viewing a beautiful, incredibly low mileage and exclusively Florida-kept and driven 2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK320 Convertible. This drop-top is sexy, sleek, extra-clean and priced thousands below retail. Certainly the best color combination for this Cabriolet. Stunning High-gloss Brilliant Silver exterior ($670 option from the factory), over Charcoal leather interior with complimenting Black canvas, self-enclosed power top, and Burl Walnut Trim. This is truly one of the most desirable color combinations you could have ordered from your local MB dealer.

There's nothing quite like a clean, highly-polished, glossy Silver sports car, and this CLK is the perfect canvas for that color. This one get looks and stares everywhere--top up, or down, and is an absolute pleasure to drive. Completely power, self-enclosed convertible top, with integrated roll bar and full power options. The rich black canvas is in outstanding condition, and it even has a rear defroster (for those of you in "not-so" Tropical climates). The Ebony leather is in superb condition as well, basically just like new, and the rich wood accents really give this CLK interior a distinguished appearance. What else would you expect from a privately-owned, garaged 42,000 mile pampered vehicle? That's less than 4,500 miles per year folks! No dings, dents or unsightly parking lot mishaps...this convertible is beautiful. Loaded with everything and this CLK convertible runs and drives superbly.

This MB CLK has a great stance and appearance, and the factory aluminum/alloy wheels provide the ultimate performance and handling. They look great on this car, and it is equipped with a complete set of Bridgestone premium heat-and-speed rated All-season performance radials all the way around. They are in near-new condition, and are perfect for any driving condition, Wet...or Dry!

This CLK320 has plenty of power from its 215-horsepower 18-valve Twin-Spark Aluminum 3.2 liter powerplant with 5-speed Electronically-Controlled Transmission (with Touch-Shift), and gets significantly better mileage than its CLK500 sibling--and don't tell CLK500 owner, but is a much more reliable engine. Purrrs like a kitten.....but roars like a Lion when you hit the gas pedal. The 5-speed electronically-controlled automatic transmission really provides effortless Interstate cruising and excellent fuel economy. Everything works perfectly and properly, and this Mercedes was serviced by the pro's at the Mercedes dealership, not Joe from Joe's Garage (no offense Joe).

It had an original price tag of $54,360 in 2004 and had the added comfort and convenience package (a $1,590 option). It consisted of the wood and leather steering wheel, and 6-disc CD changer. Along with all the standard MB features, this one is decked out. It has a fully Automatic Soft Top, dual zone automatic climate control, auto dimming rear and driver's side mirrors, cruise control, 8-speaker BOSE Digital Sound System, dual 10-way adjustable seats with 3-position Memory, front seats with Easy Entry feature, Multi-function steering wheel, electric adjustable Tilt/Telescoping Steering Wheel, power front & rear windows (with Express Up/Down feature), Smart Key, Intermittent Wipers w/Rain Sensor, Integrated Garage Door Opener, keyless remote entry, factory security system and so much more! Safety features also include Automatic Pop-Up Roll Bar, Dual stage front airbags, Rear Side airbags and Head Thorax Bags mounted in the front seats. Night Security Illumination and Electronic Stability Control (ESP), combined with 4-wheel ABS Disc Brakes (with Brake Assist System) makes this CLK equally as safe, as it is great-looking!

We have this gorgeous, low mileage Cabriolet priced incredibly for a fast sale. With a careful, local owner, this CLK has been only Florida--owned and driven, and has all the original books, manuals, supplements and even the original window sticker. This one is the one you have been searching long and hard for. Florida-owned cars really make better vehicles. No harsh winters, no harsh roads. No snow, no salt, no pothill-filled roads, no undercarriage rust....you should be getting the picture. And with only 42,000 original miles, this Mercedes is just getting broken in. All she needs is an equally loving new owner. No disappointments here. Extra-clean interior, perfect leather-dashboard-carpets and wood trim-and a pleasure to drive. This car has never been smoked in. Neither the cigarette lighter, nor the ashtray have ever been used. Imagine all the fun you will have with this sexy convertible, while still driving one of the safest vehicles on the road. If you hit the Buy-It-Now, we will assist with transport within the Continental US, and of course, free airport pick-up is available from Jacksonville International Airport. This CLK even has XM Sirius radio, and as stated, the factory 6-disc CD changer to go along with the premium BOSE/Harman Kardon high-power audio system.

We list our vehicles to sell, and many sell with just a simple phone call to our sales associate. The latest April 2014 NADA Used Car Guide shows the retail value of this fine automobile to be over $16,175...and certainly much more at your friendly neighborhood MB dealership, or local high-image Import Auto Boutique. We have it priced for an immediate sale, to one savvy MB buyer who realizes a great value. Our sale price is actually the same as clean wholesale Trade-In value. Please do your homework and realize what a tremendous value this is, on what is an incredibly desirable and hard-to-find low mileage car.....This is truly a no-brainer. Don't miss out on this one. Priced the lowest in the country and thousands below retail. Please feel free to call or e-mail us and enjoy a wonderful buying experience. Please call 561.283.9511 and ask for Steve. He'll be happy to tell you all about this attractive, low mileage CLK Convertible, as well as provide a complete walk around the vehicle. This CLK has absolutely no accidents or title problems of any kind, so bid with confidence. It is our pleasure to serve you. We charge a nominal $299 dealer fee to every sale. One lucky person is going to get a great car! Spring is here, and what better way to cruise around that in this low mileage, pampered beauty! Good Luck to everyone bidding. Bid with confidence and Bid to win!

Mercedes may be working on a new electric car dubbed 'Ecoluxe'

Fri, Dec 26 2014

Automobile has a lengthy piece this month on how the four German mass-market luxury manufacturers each plan to go after Tesla with their own electric vehicles. It was written by Georg Kacher, the magazine's European bureau chief, and the English version came a month after he wrote the German-language original for Autobild. Tesla isn't exactly a threat to the Germans, but, according to the report, the Model S is planting the right kinds of seeds in niches that are important to the luxury players. The thinking is that - in addition to needed electric vehicles anyway for stricter US regulations - it's better to start designing the machinery now. The article posited Porsche's attack would rest on the coming Panamera platform, but a big hurdle would be battery placement. Unable to find one large space for a lithium-ion pack, engineers would instead put batteries everywhere they could, for a supposed tally of some "108 battery pouches" throughout the body. A few days after the Automobile piece, however, Porsche publicly said it had no intention of challenging the Model S, because the enthusiastic driving the brand is known for doesn't jive with useful range. In Kacher's retelling, Mercedes' plans are even more ambitious, supposedly taking aim at the Model S and the coming Model X. It would do this with an investment in excess of $2 billion in a program called "Ecoluxe" – Mercedes has no brand division akin to BMW's i and Audi's e-tron. The new brand would create a four-strong family of bespoke electric vehicles: a smaller platform with a wheelbase around 106 inches and a larger one with a wheelbase around 118 inches. In addition, the range would have "provisions for rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, and rear-wheel steering." The numbers are impressive: seating for seven in the larger vehicles, both longer than 16 feet, front and rear storage areas, ratings of up to 610 horsepower and production capacity of 80,000 units per year. When would we see such creatures? Perhaps as soon as 2019. We do know that if Tesla can knock the Model X over the outfield fence, automakers are going to have to do something. We don't know what the chances are that Ecoluxe is Mercedes' first move - but such a plan could help explain the weird Mercedes concept spied in October.

2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 First Drive | Fat cat money

Thu, Feb 18 2021

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Do you like the Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class, but just donÂ’t think itÂ’s fancy or expensive enough as it is? Maybe the AMG version is too audaciously sporty or you'd prefer a completely different flavor of garish. Maybe you donÂ’t want to be seen driving the GLS at all. If youÂ’re looking for the perfect GLS to be driven in, but need to make sure you look more like the type of fat cat to blow money on lavish, boozy dinners and decorative fountains than the pro baller who splurges on a home gym and tennis courts, Mercedes finally has the giant SUV just for you: the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600. Is this tongue-in-cheek straw man in any way indicative of an actual Maybach owner? Who knows. We can barely comprehend how rich someone might be who can afford this $161,525 ultra-luxury SUV (before any options) let alone actually know someone of such largesse. Nevertheless, the GLS upon which it's based is certainly no stranger to us. We first drove the GLS 470 in Austria's Tyrolean Alps, sampled the AMG GLS 63 in the Columbia River Gorge, and nominated its bouncy E-Active Body Control suspension for AutoblogÂ’s 2020 Technology of the Year Award. Most of the same ingredients are present in the Maybach 600, but just one look at this two-tone luxury liner requires you to rethink the scope of what the GLS can do. While the overall body style looks more or less the same, there was no mistaking our tester for an ordinary GLS, or even an extraordinary AMG model. The two-tone paint — Lunar Blue Metallic below, and Iridium Silver Metallic from the beltline up — shouts to passersby (in an aristocratic German accent, presumably) that thereÂ’s something different going on here. The optional wheels, which get their own Maybach design, measure an absolutely massive 23 inches. Perched on the nose is the nearly extinct Mercedes hood ornament. The final giveaway comes when you move in a little closer and see the Maybach badging on the grille, tailgate and D-pillars. But seriously, that paint job is something else. The exterior doesnÂ’t quite do justice to what awaits within. The driverÂ’s door opens to a rich, inviting and clearly technologically advanced cockpit. The dual screen dash housing the instrument panel and infotainment touchscreen is becoming familiar from GLS down to GLA, as are the multitude of controls on the wheel and center console with which one can easily interact with them.

Mercedes G63 AMG 6x6 is sold out

Thu, Feb 19 2015

Sometimes automakers go absolutely bonkers and bequeath a product on the world that makes no logical sense – except to make people grin from ear to ear. The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6X6 is just such a vehicle with six wheels, three axles, five differentials and a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 making 536 horsepower and 561 pound-feet of torque. The result is a truck that looks more appropriate to handle the dystopian future rather than any paved road on Earth, especially the $1.35 million armored version. Unfortunately, if you have a hankering to own a brand-new example, it's too late because Mercedes is ending production of the behemoth. Since introducing the 6X6 in 2013, Mercedes actually sold more than it originally anticipated by moving more than 100 of them, according to GT Spirit, but the German automaker has ended production to keep the model special. Still, those production numbers aren't too shabby considering the truck's ultra-niche nature and base price of 379,000 euros ($430,000 at current exchange rates). While wealthy clients who desire luxury with their off-roading can no longer order the 6X6, Mercedes isn't entirely abandoning these customers yet. The company is already previewing the G500 4x42 that takes the six-wheeler's pumped up suspension and wheels but reinterprets the look on the more conventional, two-axle body style. Buyers might have to accept a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8, though. A debut for the new model is expected for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in early March. Related Video:
