NOTICE:  This vehicle with 9,000 miles,  was purchased from a Chrysler/Jeep Dealer in Green Bay, WI with a lemon title.  The dealer explained to me that he understood the original owner was unable to afford the vehicle and that he pestered the dealership until they agreed to buy it back as a lemon.  He gave his opinion that the vehicle was not the lemon and advised that Chrysler was providing a bumper to bumper warranty (all parts and labor) for one full year.   As a result, I purchased the vehicle with 9,000 miles, drove it to NC and never used the warranty, nor have I had any problems what-so-ever and it now has 73,100 miles.  Now it  has a clear title in N.C. and I have all it's service records. Contact me if you have any questions....

As you can see the vehicle is in pristine condition, always owned and driven by a non-smoking adult with no small children. It has always been garage kept and the maintenance has been done by the local dealer. For complete information or to check it out call contact Roy.  This vehicle has 73,000 miles and is equipped with Four Wheel Drive, Six Speed Manual Transmission, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Tachometer, Digital Info Center, Tilt/telescoping Steering Wheel, Three Piece Removable Roof, Driver Airbag, Passenger Airbag, Keyless Entry, ABS Brakes, Traction Control, Dynamic Stability, Rear Defogger, Fog Lights, Intermittent Wipers, AM-FM, CD Player, Alloy Wheels, 17 inch alloy wheels, almost new Michelins and a 3.8 V6 Engine.

Chrysler recalls 2013 Ram pickups, 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Wed, 17 Jul 2013

Chrysler's spate of successful products is about to be marred by a trio of recalls. The Pentastar is recalling 51,477 Ram trucks and Jeep SUVs. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there have been no reported accidents, injuries or deaths related to the affected vehicles.
The largest action covers the Ram 1500, which is seeing 45,961 trucks being recalled. Models built between June 26, 2012 and February 5, 2013 are being recalled due to a potential software issue in the electronic stability control. Apparently, the system can be randomly deactivated upon vehicle startup.
Chrysler is also recalling 4,458 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee models. Covering everything but the SRT models, the potentially defective SUVs were built between January 14 and March 20, 2013. This recall focuses on "premium headlights," which means cars equipped with LED running lights. During the switch from the bright daytime running lamp setting to the low-intensity parking light setting, an electrical spike can cause one of the Jeep's computers to go into a safe mode, turning off the LEDs. This violates Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

Jeep Twitter account hacked, bad language, poor grammar and some hilarity ensue

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

Just a day after Burger King's Twitter account was compromised by "unauthorized users," Jeep's social media feed has been similarly hacked. Both instances of digital incursion share some similarities - the BK hackers changed the company's logo for McDonald's familiar golden arches, saying a sale had occurred, while the Jeep miscreants have replaced Jeep's branding with that of General Motors property Cadillac.
The resulting tweets from the damaged Jeep account have been a pretty brutal, to put it bluntly. Most of the content coming from the hacked account is unpublishable here, using language that is peppered with racial epithets, and poorly worded "shout outs."
In addition to the defamatory tweets themselves, the hackers have significantly altered the layout of the page. Jeep's header image now features a picture of the Cadillac ATS to go along with the Wreath and Crest, some language calling out that car as winning the 2013 North American Car of the Year award, and this gem: "The official Twitter handle for the Jeep(R) - Just Empty Every Pocket, Sold To Cadillac =[" Also, perhaps in an ode to yesterday's Burger King heist, the background image for the page now features a McDonald's-themed donk. The devil's in the details, we guess.
