This 1995 Jeep is in excellent condition, both inside and out with only 80,760 adult driven miles. Very little rust if any. The motor and all mechanicals run and operate as they should. The AC blows ice cold. In July I drained and replaced all fluids as per OEM requirements with Royal Purple synthetics to include;
Motor oil and filter, lubricate all chassis locations as needed
Radiator flush and refill
5 spd Transmission drained, and replaced trans oil
Front and rear differentials drained and new fluid replaced
Transfer case drained and replaced fluid
Fuel filter and rubber line replaced with new
Brake lines have been replaced.
I had this Jeep repainted the original Dark Blue Metalic with clear coat including the hard top this past June as the factory original clear coat went bad as you can see from the pictures I've included.
The only negatives I can note reference this Jeep is;
1. The horn button is under the dash. Prior owner apparently replaced the OEM steering wheel and didn't get the after market wheel horn wiring kit and just used another horn button mounted under the dash. See pictures
2. The passenger side rear view mirror is cracked as shown in pictures.
3. Drivers seat left crack in vinyl. See pictures.
Additional Items of note;
Optional after market AM/FM Kenwood radio and 4 speakers.
Center locking console and rear storage both sides.
Dark vinyl tinted windows.
Spare Tire and rear mount go with Jeep.
Rear OEM seat like new goes with Jeep.
After market seat covers not shown go with Jeep.
Roof rack.
Class III trailer hitch and wiring.
Stainless step rails.
New wheel well extended Sahara style flares when Jeep was painted. See pictures.
If Jeep sell for buy it now price (which is Kelly Blue Book value), I will include a $200 stainless steel light bar mount that goes over windshield, and a new in the box front bumper.
PLEASE NOTE
If you don't have 10 or more purchases or sales, please DO NOT bid without contacting me first. I've had too many bad experiences with unexperienced EBAYers buying and not paying. This Jeep is being sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY. If you are a serious buyer, within driving distance to my location, and would like to inspect this Jeep prior to the end of the auction, just send me your cell number and I'll arrange a day and time for you to inspect the Jeep. I doubt you will find another Jeep in this good condition, and not abused anywhere. Good luck and be safe.

Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?
Thu, 15 Nov 2012Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.
Inexperienced Jeep driver buries his Wrangler at sea
Mon, May 16 2016There's an old maxim in off-roading that states, "Four-wheel drive doesn't keep you from getting stuck, it just gets you stuck in worse places." The truth of this statement was perfectly illustrated recently in a YouTube video of a Jeep Wrangler digging its own grave at the beach. On May 11, a YouTuber named Dan M uploaded a video he titled, "Drunk guy doesn't know how to off-road and ruins nice Jeep." The video, shot at dusk on a rocky looking beach, shows a blue Wrangler driving out into the surf without a care in the world. Dan, providing commentary along with an unseen female companion, was impressed with the Jeep driver's dash at first. "Wow, he must do that a lot because he ain't scared of getting stuck or anything," said Dan. As the Wrangler got deeper into the water, the Dan's friend expressed her doubts that the Jeep driver would make it out, especially when the Jeep got snagged on a little spit of sand sticking out into the water. Dan wasn't worried, however. "No, he'll manage to get out of there, he'll make it out of there. He'll back out and get out," he said. Dan's confidence in the Jeep driver was sadly misplaced, unfortunately. The driver managed to get the Jeep stuck on the sand bar then made the rookiest of rookie mistakes–he just gunned it. "Oh man, he's done! He's done!" yelled Dan as the Jeep driver proceeded to dig a huge hole in the sand that sunk the Wrangler up to its frame just as the tide started coming in. With that kind of dunking, especially in salt water, that Wrangler was probably a total loss, much like the Grand Cherokee that got washed downriver last week somewhere in Europe. Vile Gossip: Ladies who launch
Fri, Feb 16 2018Jean Jennings has been writing about cars for more than 30 years, after stints as a taxicab driver and as a mechanic in the Chrysler Proving Grounds Impact Lab. She was a staff writer at Car and Driver magazine, the first executive editor and former president and editor-in-chief of Automobile Magazine, the founder of the blog Jean Knows Cars and former automotive correspondent for Good Morning America. She has lifetime awards from both the Motor Press Guild and the New England Motor Press Association. Look for more Vile Gossip columns in the future. The year was 2006. We were driving a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 across the Florida Panhandle from Jacksonville to Panama City, only because I couldn't convince Bugatti to let me be the first to drive its exotic powerhouse, the world's fastest car at that time, all the way across America. One gleaming example had arrived in time for the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance, where the journos massed for their quick test drives out the front drive of the Ritz Carlton, down a short stretch of the A1A, and back to the Ritz. Not far enough for me. I wanted to take the Veyron in all of its 16-cylinder, 1,001-horsepower, $1.3-million-dollar glory on a coast-to-coast extravaganza of a road trip. Never hurts to ask. I asked. Once the Bugatti guys stopped hyperventilating, I explained that the coastal adventure would be contained wholly within the state of Florida, from the Atlantic coast to the Gulf of Mexico. My secret destination, however, was to be Vernon, Florida, home of the great Errol Morris' classic documentary about a town in the Panhandle with the highest per-capita population of citizens who'd blown off or whacked off a limb for insurance money. (Google "Nub City.") The Swiss head of Bugatti public relations thought it hilarious. He showed up in a van with a couple of German mechanics to follow us and a failed French Formula 1 driver to serve as my chaperone. I came with a photographer from Germany and one of the most infamous of bad-boy auto magazine tech editors, the irrepressible Don Sherman. Sherman had his own reason for going, and it had nothing to do with a Veyron to Vernon. Once we gave up looking for nubbies, he ordered me to veer south to the handgrip of the Panhandle, familiarly known as the Redneck Riviera. The Don was aiming to secretly execute the Veyron's first Launch Control blastoff in captivity.
