This 1956 XK140 roadster is a fully matching number car. In fact I don't think the engine has ever been out of the car. The car has not molested, all the original clamps and nuts and bolts are still in the engine compartment and have not been disturbed. The original commission plate is still attached to the car and has never been taken off. The commission plate matches all the numbers on the car. The car is 98% complete. A few little things I see missing are: the set of fog lamps that were on it, the spare wheel and the tools. The interior is all intact and appears to be complete. This XK140 was originally the Dove Gray color with the red leather interior. What a very pretty combination. The car is not an MC car. It is very rare to see one of these cars with the overdrive as they usually came through with a close ratio gearbox. The driver's side of the rear part of the frame is going need repairing. This is an excellent candidate for restoration. It steers and rolls for ease of shipping. I have a clear title on the car. Additional are available, please email for more. Is Jaguar's 3 Series-fighter the brand's last chance?
Wed, 16 Oct 2013The upcoming line of compact 3 Series-fighters from Jaguar, often referred to as the Jaguar XS, could consist of a sedan, wagon and possibly a coupe and GT model (think BMW 5 Series GT). The car's all-aluminum architecture also will provide the basis for two new sports utility vehicles. Just how important is the much-touted "baby Jag" project to parent company Jaguar Land Rover? A JLR executive reportedly says the brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS, codenamed X760, Autocar reports.

"If the X760 fails, it will probably be the end for the [Jaguar] brand," the executive says. But Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar's global brand director, claims Jaguar will "build the most advanced, most efficient, most refined car in that [compact luxury sedan] segment. Not almost as good as, but better than the best in the world."
2013 Jaguar XF 2.0T
Fri, 10 May 2013Jaguar is moving to modernize its XF engine lineup - once the exclusive territory of V8 mills - with a range including a turbo four, a supercharged six and supercharged V8s of various potencies. Personally, I'll miss the combination of this smooth looking and driving XF sedan, and the lazy power of the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter engine, even if the super six has earned some praise in other applications.
The truth is that the four, six, eight lineup for the XF makes a lot of sense, and this 2.0T version of the sedan is far better than I expected it to be. In fact, there's a legitimate argument to be made for it as the XF that works the best for the largest group of customers. Here's why:

Jaguar appoints Joe Eberhardt as North American President
Thu, 19 Dec 2013Jaguar Land Rover North America has appointed a new president, Joachim Eberhardt. The German exec, 50, had previously done stints at Chrysler Group, DaimlerChrysler UK, Mercedes-Benz USA and Daimler-Benz.
Eberhardt joins JLR NA in a good, but challenging time for the company. It's fresh off the launch of the Range Rover Sport and Jaguar F-Type, which have been subject to rave reviews, and its overall sales are up 21 percent over 2012. Still, as Automotive News points out, the two manufacturers face a fight to become the equal of A-list competitors like BMW and Mercedes in the eyes of consumers.
"Joe brings a proven industry track record and valuable global leadership experience in luxury sales, service and marketing. We look forward to Joe leading our North American team in working with our retail networks to further grow the business and better serve our customers," JLR's group sales operations director, Andy Goss, said.
