An upcoming long military deployment forces sale. I am selling my much loved 2007 Jaguar XK with 31k miles. I have owned this car for over two years and have not had a single problem with the car. Without a doubt the best car I've owned and will purchase another when I return from my deployment.

- Dark Blue Gray Pearl over black leather, never smoked in.

- It is in mint condition with ZERO issues, accidents, paintwork, etc.

- It has the Luxury Package, Technology Package, upgraded Alpine stereo (6 Disc w/Sat XM Radio) and heated/walnut steering wheel.

- I have every maintenance record from day 1, both keys/fobs and owners manual.

- I just recently installed a brand new set of XJ wheels and EVO K110 v12 tires at the cost of over $6k.

- The car is always garaged, only hand washed/waxed and has only the best synthetic oil/filter used in changes.

- Oil and filter changed 2/9/2013 (Penzoil Platinum Synthentic & K&N Gold Oil Filter)

- The car just completed an annual NC state inspection and passed with flying colors.

Jaguar appoints Joe Eberhardt as North American President

Jaguar Land Rover North America has appointed a new president, Joachim Eberhardt. The German exec, 50, had previously done stints at Chrysler Group, DaimlerChrysler UK, Mercedes-Benz USA and Daimler-Benz.
Eberhardt joins JLR NA in a good, but challenging time for the company. It's fresh off the launch of the Range Rover Sport and Jaguar F-Type, which have been subject to rave reviews, and its overall sales are up 21 percent over 2012. Still, as Automotive News points out, the two manufacturers face a fight to become the equal of A-list competitors like BMW and Mercedes in the eyes of consumers.
"Joe brings a proven industry track record and valuable global leadership experience in luxury sales, service and marketing. We look forward to Joe leading our North American team in working with our retail networks to further grow the business and better serve our customers," JLR's group sales operations director, Andy Goss, said.

Jaguar turns down offers to join V8 Supercars, questions AMG, Volvo participation

Rumors have swirled in recent weeks that Jaguar may be the next manufacturer to join the V8 Supercars racing series, made popular in Australia but now well-known in other parts of the world as well. Sadly, Jag's participation is not to be. In fact, it would be "insane," according to Jaguar Land Rover Asia Pacific Managing Director David Blackhall, for it to accept either of the two offers it has received to bring Jaguar into V8 Supercars.
Not only is Jaguar not interested in entering V8 Supercars, says Blackhall, it also fails to understand the recent entries from AMG and Volvo. "I don't know what it does for AMG to get flogged by a V8 Commodore week after week, but it's their brand, their issue. And the same thing will happen to Volvo to be honest."
Judging by Blackhall's statements to motoring.com.au, after not-so-serious consideration, the automaker decided the monetary commitment it would take to compete for wins would be more than any potential exposure would be worth, despite the fact that Jaguar has a 5.0-liter V8 to go along with what would seem to be a tailor-made rear-wheel-drive chassis. For what it's worth, one offer would have had Jaguar putting its name across an engine made by someone else, an option that was flatly turned down.

Jaguar Land Rover's all-new InControl system is set to get a big bump as the British company will add a new service called JustDrive, which expands on the smartphone-focused infotainment system by adding a singular voice controller for a wide array of the system's currently available apps.
