THE INTERIOR IS VERY VERY NICE. THE DRIVER SEAT SHOWS A LITTLE BIT OF WEAR ON THE SIDE BOLSTER AS YOU WOULD EXPECT. VERY MINOR BUT WANT TO BE ACCURATE. THE REST OF THE INTERIOR IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE. THE RADIO BUTTONS SHOW A LITTLE BIT OF WEAR AS WELL. SUNROOF WORKS LIKE IT SHOULD AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER POWER OPTIONS. CARPETS ARE STAIN FREE AND ALSO COMES WITH FACTORY FLOOR MATS.

THE EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE IS NEAR FLAWLESS. PAINT SHINES PERFECT. THE BODY IS STRAIGHT AND TRUE. THE EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE IS A 9 OUT OF 10. THERE IS NO MAJOR DAMAGE TO SPEAK ABOUT. THERE MAY BE A COUPLE SMALL ROCK CHIPS ON THE FRONT BUMPER THATS ABOUT IT. THESE ARE GETTING HARD TO FIND WITH LOW MILES AND IN THIS GOOD OF CONDITION. THIS IS A 2 OWNER TRUCK. The 2008 Hummer HX concept was supposed to be General Motors' answer to the Jeep Wrangler. To put it mildly, that failed to materialize. General Motors killed Hummer as part of its bankruptcy-induced limb severing in 2009, before the HX could be brought to fruition as the H4, as had been rumored.
For those of you who wish the HX had indeed surfaced, we have some excellent news: My Electric Vehicle, or MEV, has appropriated the HX concept, added an electric drivetrain and created the MEV Hummer HX. The MEV HX is a fully electric golf cart resort vehicle, licensed by GM and sporting Hummer wheels and skid plates.

When the internal combustion engine finally helped the automobile pass the horse-drawn carriage as the chosen method of transportation for a majority of citizens in the United States, that a step in the right direction. Right? Moving forward about a hundred years... when the behemoth Sport Utility Vehicle that never actually seems to venture off the beaten path passed the minivan in the hearts and minds of families across the country as the people-mover of choice, was that a step in the right direction?

Created by artist Jeremy Dean (read about our initial post on the project here), the converted Hummer H2 is called Futurama and is pulled by two white horses named, appropriately enough, Duke and Diesel. Turn Out the Lights: Final Hummer H3 rolls off the line... for Avis

Would the last one out the door please switch off the lights? The long strange trip that has been the Hummer brand is just about over for General Motors. The final ever production H3 rolled out of GM's Shreveport, Louisiana factory on Monday May 24, 2010 on its way to an Avis rental car outlet. As you may recall, GM had actually stopped assembling H3s in mid-2009 as it went through bankruptcy, but it resumed production recently in order to fill an 849 unit special order.
GM tried to sell the Hummer brand to Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machines Co., Ltd but the deal ultimately fell apart last February. A subsequent offer from Raser Technologies also went nowhere. Now that production has ceased, 200 of the 900 remaining employees at Shreveport will be laid off by July and the rest of the Hummer staff back at headquarters in Detroit is either leaving or being reassigned.
