2001 Honda S2000 1 Ownr Berlina Black Red Leather 25,488 Mi Excellent Condition! on 2040-cars
Indianapolis, Indiana, United States
One-owner, accident free, and extremely well cared for 2001 Honda S2000 in Berlina Black over Red leather interior. Vehicle has only 25,488 miles! The owner always started the vehicle and let it warm up prior to driving as he always properly cared for this car! She is resting on 4 nearly new Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position tires. These are the proper tires and they are all in excellent condition as they were replaced two months ago! The brakes are in great condition and all fluids are good to go! We changed the oil and filter on 07 / 12 and inspected the entire vehicle. The only item recommended to be changed in the spring would be the brake fluid. Although this pristine S2000 was only washed by hand, our detail department performed an incredible full detail on this vehicle including the engine bay.
Close your eyes and imagine driving. As you start your down shift and once again hear that beautiful VTEC come to life as you near a stop light, you look over and see your reflection in the car next to you and all you can see is you and the S2000 as the Berlina Black paint is a mirror finish! Even the top on this car is in excellent condition as the owner always used a rolled towel to keep the window from creasing when the top was down! He even used carpeted mats on top of the S2000 mats! This is one of those cars that was rarely driven and never saw snow, salt, and rarely rain. The only imperfection is on the right front wheel which has a very small curb check. Did I mention, very small? Overall, this car is one that shouldn’t last long. Service is up to date and the body and leather are both in excellent condition. Vehicle comes with two keys, all books, and a signed autograph from the original owner. This S2000 will make the next owner smile from ear to ear. There’s only one problem with this vehicle, it’s in the right colors, but it’s not in your garage!

Honda CR-V caught wearing facelift in Europe
Mon, 04 Aug 2014A few years on from its 2011 debut, the current Honda CR-V is preparing to go under the knife for a refresh. Typical of these sort of mid-cycle deals, the changes for Honda's popular CUV are minor.
The front of the car is home to the most dramatic (a relative term here) changes, with revised headlights sporting what looks like a slimmer profile. The three-bar grille has been heavily tweaked and is now a two-bar item, with a larger lower bar and a nose badge that covers both upper and lower sections.
The fascia itself has been modified with what looks like a larger lower intake, while the foglights have gone from the circular pattern of the current car to a rectangular pattern on the facelifted model. It looks like they'll still sport conventional bulbs, although the shape of the lights themselves look like a natural fit for a set of LED running lights (as is the trend).
2016 Honda Civic pricing leaked, starts at $19,475
Sat, Oct 17 2015You're going to get a whole load of 2016 Honda Civic information very, very soon. As a teaser, take a look at this pricing information on Honda's latest compact sedan, leaked by the folks at the civicx.com forums. As you can see, both invoice and retail pricing is included in this dealer ordering guide, and, assuming it's all legit, it looks like Honda has done a very good job of keeping its 2016 Civic competitive with its rivals in the compact segment. At the low end, a 2016 Civic LX with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission will cost $19,475 (including an $835 destination fee). That's a $150 increase from 2015. Considering that the new car is larger and more powerful than it was last year, that small additional cost initially strikes us as reasonable. If you want an automatic, in this case a continuously variable unit paired to that same naturally aspirated base engine, you're looking at a minimum of $20,275. More good news comes in the form of the EX trim, which, at $21,875, is actually a little bit less than it was last year. Upgrading to the 1.5-liter turbocharged powerplant, which Honda promises will be the most powerful engine it has ever offered in a Civic not labeled Si, brings the asking price to $23,035. If you want leather and more bells and whistles, the Civic EX-L will start at $24,535. The Civic range tops out at $27,335 in Touring trim, assuming these leaked prices are accurate. We'll be able to confirm these prices, along with a whole heck of a lot more, on Monday morning. In other words, Civic fans, stay tuned. And get excited. 7 major automakers to build open EV charging network
Wed, Jul 26 2023A new joint venture established by BMW, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz and Stellantis will build a new North American electric vehicle charging network on a scale designed to compete with Tesla's industry-benchmark Supercharger network. The 30,000-plus planned new chargers will accommodate both Tesla's almost-standard North American Charging System (NACS) and existing automakers' Combined Charging System (CCS) options, effectively guaranteeing compatibility with the vast majority of current and upcoming electric models — whether they're from one of the involved automakers or not. "With the generational investments in public charging being implemented on the Federal and State level, the joint venture will leverage public and private funds to accelerate the installation of high-powered charging for customers. The new charging stations will be accessible to all battery-powered electric vehicles from any automaker using Combined Charging System (CCS) or North American Charging Standard (NACS) and are expected to meet or exceed the spirit and requirements of the U.S. National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program." Critically, the automakers involved will have a say in how the charging tech is implemented, guaranteeing that the hardware will play nicely with each automaker's in-house charging systems. Hyundai and Kia, for example, were hesitant to jump on board the Tesla NACS bandwagon earlier this year over concerns that the Supercharger network is insufficient for powering the two automakers' 800-volt charging systems; similar tech is used by Volkswagen and Porsche. In addition to providing much-needed capacity and high-output charging for America's growing fleet of electric cars and trucks, the new network will integrate seamlessly with each automaker's in-app and in-vehicle features, rather than forcing customers to use third-party tools and payment systems, as is the case with some existing public charging infrastructure. "The functions and services of the network will allow for seamless integration with participating automakersÂ’ in-vehicle and in-app experiences, including reservations, intelligent route planning and navigation, payment applications, transparent energy management and more. In addition, the network will leverage Plug & Charge technology to further enhance the customer experience," the announcement said.
