Now up for auction we have a 2013 GMC YUKON DENALI XL that has been involved in an accident. Please read the following for the overall condition of this vehicle. Mechanically: The truck did start when she came in, but for obvious reasons we did not run here for a long period of time. So once she is all repaired I am sure she will be fine mechanically. Interior: Very clean to new, just like a 2013 should be! Fully loaded with all the power options (roof, navi., tv, etc.) As far as the mileage goes, when the truck came in I was not able to light up the odometer (probably because of the hit on the left front fender & left front door). So she probably will have more miles on her then what I have her listed with. I will try and get the odometer lit and disclose once I have it. Body: This is where she will need the attention. She will need a Left 3/4 nose, windshield, rear bumper, tailamp, there is a very easily repairable dent on the right rear 1/4 panel. This SUV was damaged while she was parked, so she does NOT need any airbags. This truck may have possible frame damage. Please look at all pictures for the overall condition of this suv. Please remember your bid is a contract, please treat it as such. This SUV is being sold as is, in damaged repairable condition. Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs
Thu, 03 Jan 2013General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. 2015 GMC Yukon erupts into flames during Anaheim test drive [w/video]
Mon, 24 Mar 2014A 2015 GMC Yukon burst into flames while on a test drive in Anaheim, CA on Sunday after smoke filled the cabin. Residents of the neighborhood where the driver abandoned the redesigned Yukon reported hearing a series of small explosions (likely the tires, based on the video), according to a report from KTLA and The Los Angeles Times.
No one was injured in the incident, which The Times reports occurred after a possible oil or fluid leak. As you can see in the image above, the Yukon was engulfed in flames, although the Anaheim Fire Department was able to put out the blaze in about 15 minutes.
"We're very lucky that no one got hurt, and it was in an area that... was safe," Lt. Tim Schmidt of the Anaheim Police Department told KTLA reporters. "If there was any place that was going to be safe, it would be this area. It's very open. It worked out for us."
OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles
Thu, 06 Jun 2013As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.
