You are bidding on my 2004.5 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLT 4X4 Crew cab LLY Duramax Diesel 4X4 truck with Gray Leather interior. This is a one-owner truck purchased by me in March 2004. Truck is in excellent condition, is 100 PERCENT original paint and body is in excellent condition. NEVER damaged in any way. Never smoked in, it has never towed more than 5000lbs and it has always been a dessert truck, so no rust. This truck has 138K miles but almost all HIGHWAY MILES. It has been used part time to commute truck to work and to take on vacation. Oil was changed every 5000 miles, along with all other service when needed. Fuel filters every 10K miles and I have all service records for the truck. Tires are Bridgestone Revo's E rated and still in good shape with about 30K miles left on them. This truck was ordered from the dealer by me to have all the options that I wanted, see window sticker in photos. Other plus items are Front bucket seats with fold down arm rests and console, Bose stereo system with XM and steering wheel controls, towing package, power heated seats, dual zone climate control, rear seat climate and radio controls, electric shift transfer case. Added accessories are ... Snug top, top of the line tonneau cover with electronic controller to open it up, Clifford top of the line security system with remote start, stainless steel step running boards, spray on Rhino non-skid bedliner, trailer brake controller, Bilstein shocks, Autometer EGT gauge in windshield pillar pod, 4" turbo back exhaust system, AFE ram cold air intake kit. These were installed to enhance fuel economy and towing. The truck averages almost 19 on the highway and has averaged 17 MPG for all driving according to the trucks computer. IF YOU PAY WITH A CERTIFIED CHECK YOU MUST PICK THE TRUCK UP BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9AM AND 4PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY SO WE CAN GO TO THE BANK TOGETHER AND MAKE SURE FUNDS ARE GOOD. PLEASE GET A CHECK FROM A BANK THAT HAS A BRANCH IN LAS VEGAS NEVADA SO FUNDS CAN BE VERIFIED. MOST BANKS ARE LOCATED IN THIS TOWN. CASH WOOD BE THE BEST WAY, BUT THE BILLS WILL BE CHECKED. HATE TO BE THIS WAY, BUT THIS IS A LOT OF MONEY AND I CAN NOT TAKE CHANCES WITH A BAD CHECK. BID WITH CONFIDENCE, THIS IS A NICE TRUCK FROM A VERY HONEST SELLER. Please call or email with questions.

GMC Canyon's jump seats innovate to keep kids safe [w/video]
Sat, 03 May 2014We dig simple solutions to problems. There's something highly gratifying about making a minute change to fix something, rather than tearing up the playbook. That's what GMC has done with the new Canyon midsize pickup.
When putting a car seat in, car seat manufacturers require that at least 80 percent of the seat's base fit on the bottom cushion. That's a big problem in extended-cab pickups like the Canyon, which feature jump seats with shorter bottom cushions, in place of the larger, more traditionally designed bench.
The Canyon gets around this with extendable jump seats - simply pop out the headrest and slot it into the bottom seat cushion, and the truck can now easily accommodate a child's seat.
GM tinkering with Silverado, Sierra model mix amidst strong early sales
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Variety, as they say, is the spice of life. That's a lesson that is currently being taught to General Motors, because despite a strong showing from its 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, the General's pickup sales still can't best those of cross-town rival Ford.
With 59,163 trucks moved, GM fell just over 1,000 units short of toppling Ford, and one of the main reasons for that, according to GM's chief sales analyst, was due to a lack of variety in the engines and body styles available on dealer lots. "We are still over-weighted toward crew-cab V8 trucks. Our light-duty mix will moderate over time as our launch progresses," said Kurt McNeil.
Loading dealers with the popular combination of the 5.3-liter V8 and the four-door, Crew Cab body style was intentional during the truck's launch, but as supplies of leftover 2013 models, which are being sold at heavy incentives, are beginning to wane, both budget-conscious and high-dollar buyers are looking elsewhere instead of at the volume model pickups.
GMC boss wants a Jeep Wrangler rival
Wed, 12 Nov 2014Challengers come and challengers go, but the Jeep Wrangler continues to push forward even after vehicles like the Toyota FJ Cruiser and the entire Hummer brand have been shut down. Now GMC reportedly wants to take a stab at the quintessential Jeep, as well.
The news comes directly from Buick-GMC vice president Duncan Aldred, speaking with our compatriots over at Edmunds. Although Aldred said there are no plans currently on the table to expand GMC's lineup beyond the current range, "there is plenty of room everywhere in the hierarchy."
That could include a rival to the Wrangler, as well as a flagship luxury SUV positioned above the current Yukon Denali (pictured above). Just when (or for that matter, if) such models might come into fruition remains a big question mark, but it's certainly interesting to see what GM's dedicated truck brand has on the drawing board.
