NO RESERVE !!!  BID TO OWN !!!

If you have any questions after reading this ad, feel free to call or text Wade anytime at 512-922-7590

You are bidding on an extremely well kept 2005 GMC Sierra SLE 4x4 that is being offered at no reserve. It will go home with the highest bidder. It runs, drives, shifts, turns, and stops flawlessly. This truck is SOLID. The 5.3L engine runs quiet but strong. The push button 4wd works as it should in hi and low. It has new tires and also a hard bed cover that rolls up so you can actually use the bed when you need it. The body and paint are in great condition with very minimal wear and the undercarriage is just as nice with no oil leaks. All fluids are fresh and clean. The interior features steering wheel controls for the radio, hands free calling, fuel economy, mileage log, etc. it has power locks, windows, mirrors, and driver seat. The passenger front seat has a small hole in it that I have pictured. It has the highly desirable Bose premium sound system. There is a towing package with a receiver and a trailer brake under the driver side dash (even though it doesn't appear to have ever towed anything). An attempted break-in rendered a broken door handle, which I have also pictured (the lock mechanism is still functioning correctly and will lock and unlock with the remote), and there is a crack in the windshield which is not in the line of sight so it doesn't distract while driving, but it will need replacing before inspection time again next year.

I GUARANTEE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED IN THIS TRUCK.

2020 GMC Acadia AT4 priced just a little more than the SLT trim

Thu, Aug 29 2019

Cars Direct has seen the order guide pricing the 2020 Acadia AT4 at $42,495 after destination; that means a $41,300 MSRP plus $1,195 for shipping and handling. GMC has left a lot of pricing room between the rugged, all-wheel drive AT4 and the dressed-up, top-shelf Acadia Denali with AWD, the latter costing $49,495, a $7,000 difference. The spread's blown out some by what appears to be an $800 increase for the 2020 Acadia Denali with all-wheel drive. The 2019 model costs $48,695. On the other hand, it looks like the 200 Acadia SLT trim has gone down in price. Cars Direct says that model will run $41,995, which is $300 less than the 2019 version that goes for $42,295 after destination. The new price leaves a $500 gap between the SLT-1 model with all-wheel drive and the AT4 trim, a figure that's a no-brainer to justify for any buyers trying to get a more butch curb appeal.     The Acadia AT4 package comes standard with all-wheel drive and the 3.6-liter V6 with 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, puts black chrome on the grille, and nabs a set of exclusive 17-inch wheels on all-terrain tires. The other two engines in the lineup are a new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and cylinder deactivation. That motor will be the standard kit on the SLT and Denali trim levels, supplanting the 3.6-liter that's standard on the 2019 models. The entry-level engine carries over, a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder making 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque.

Satisfaction with dealer service rises, Lexus and GMC are tops

Thu, 14 Mar 2013

During the economic downturn, many car dealerships counteracted their slowing income by focusing on things that would set them apart from competition - things like the quality of customer service they provide. When the economy picked up and more sales and service followed, many also first invested those funds back into the business, improving their dealership facilities and service centers.
It looks like those investments are paying off, as J.D. Power and Associates' latest Customer Service Index Study shows that overall consumer satisfaction with dealer service has increased to 797 (on a 1,000-point scale), up from 787 in 2012 and 29 points higher than the score in 2011. The study also finds that people are more satisfied with the service they get at dealerships compared to independent service providers, despite the much higher average out-of-pocket cost per visit ($118 vs. $44).
Note, however, that this study only looks at how people are treated by a dealer's service department during the first three years of ownership (the survey is based on responses from 91,000 owners and lessees of 2008 to 2012 model year vehicles), so we're talking about the experience had when bringing a car in for repair or maintenance work, most likely under warranty. In fact, maintenance work is increasing in share and accounted for 77 percent of service visits (up from 72 percent in 2012 and 63 percent in 2011). This helps explain why customer satisfaction has also risen, since a properly maintained car is one that's less likely to require a dealer visit for an unexpected repair.

2022 GMC Yukon gets larger screen, standard power sliding console

Thu, Sep 30 2021

The 2022 GMC Yukon is falling into line with its big SUV siblings, the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, according to a rundown of new features on Muscle Cars & Trucks. We've already covered the availability of the 6.2-liter V8 on the AT4 trim, and it looks like GMC buyers will have an easier time of it than Chevy buyers who want the 6.2, the engine looking like a standalone option on the GMC.  Inside, the Yukon welcomes the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, replacing the previous eight-inch cluster that had an analogue tach and speedo. A little to the right, the infotainment system will come with Google Automotive built in, obviating the need to pull up Android Auto to get access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play Store. And just below that, the Yukon Denali makes the power sliding console a standard feature instead of a $350 option.  The big V8 with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque comes with a shiny pair of exhaust finishers, plus 2022 sees the addition of Redwood Metallic paint, some new wheel options, and rocker panels that can be gussied up with illuminated sill plates. The current Yukon offers Max and ProGrade trailering packages, for next year an Enhanced Trailering Technology Package adds a 13-camera trailering bundle with the option for an interior accessory camera for those with enclosed haulers. On the safety side, expect reverse automatic braking to join the list of available driver assistance features. Related Video This content is hosted by a third party.
