Here is a Ford Truck from 1948 . I have Title to the truck and no reasonable offer will be refused. Please understand there is rust and dents on this truck so they will need to completly restored. The Motors runs and starts with a gas can it needs a fuel pump plus a few minor hours of work (plugs-wires-ignition wiring-battery) the 49 is complete (mechanical wise) I fired the truck up today with just a battery and a squirt bottle and it runs like a top! The oil pressure gauge works and it has great oil pressure. The flathead v-8 is all there and ready to go. It will need Brakes and wires and rewiring and a battery. Tires are a must . the back brakes are seized on the truck. So a complete brake job is inevitable . The original colors is green. This Truck is beautiful example of the Mighty Ford trucks that once were .Please look at all the pics and I will try to answer all the emails at night when I am home from work. If you would like to discuss the sale of the truck Email me and I will email my phone number to you. No dumb question is too stupid for me to answer so please feel free to ask me anything regarding these great Trucks. We will not ship these trucks so they must be picked up in Richmond Texas ! Having said that we do know a few vehicle transport companies that will ship these for a fee. Once again This auction is for one truck a 1949 F-4.

Ford Tourneo ready for duty in Connect, Courier and Custom flavors [w/videos]
Wed, 06 Mar 2013Ford was relatively quiet at the Geneva Motor Show, but it did take the opportunity to roll out its new family of Tourneo vans: the Courier, Connect, Grand Connect and Custom. As the passenger version of the Transit cargo vans, the new range of Tourneo models vary from the B-segment Courier up to the fullsize Custom. The Connect and Grand Connect are based on the redesigned 2014 Ford Transit Connect.
With an overall length just three inches longer than the Fiesta hatchback, the Tourneo Courier seats four to five passengers, and it offers a choice of three engines: the 1.0-liter EcoBoost or two small diesels. Like the 2014 Transit Connect was saw in Paris last year, the Tourneo Connect comes in a five-seat configuration while the Grand Connect can seat seven. Finally, the Tourneo Custom seats up to nine passengers, and it is available in two lengths up to 210 inches long putting it just six inches shorter than a standard-length E-Series van and about a foot longer than the Explorer.

Ford settles class action suit over defective Navistar diesel engines
Fri, 25 Oct 2013The 2003 Ford F-Series Super Duty (shown above) introduced the 6.0-liter Power Stroke diesel supplied by Navistar, and while that is an engine Ford would love to forget, it's now one step closer to putting that particular problem behind it. Automotive News is reporting that Ford has settled a class-action lawsuit brought on by problems with this engine that started right out of the gate and ultimately broke up the 30-year relationship between Ford and Navistar.
Owners and lessees of 2003-2007 Super Duty trucks and E-Series vans equipped with the 6.0-liter Power Stroke are eligible for deductible reimbursements of between $50 and $200 from the original five-year/100,000-mile engine warranty, while Ford is paying out as much as $825 for out-of-warranty engine repairs. These repairs may include the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler, EGR valve, oil cooler, fuel injectors and turbocharger, but are only covered if the components failed before six years or 135,000 miles.
In total, Ford has agreed to pay about 50 percent of the value of the repairs and deductibles paid by its customers who submit a claim before the end of this year, and $150,000 is going to the 16 named plaintiffs in the case; Navistar was not included in the lawsuit.
