Up for auction is a beautiful 92 Mustang GT. I just bought this car from the second owner who purchased the car in 2004. This Mustang has been meticulously maintained and garaged all of its life. I was told that the car is still in the original paint and from what I can tell, it is. It shines very well but as expected from a 23 year old car, there are some minor imperfections. Every body panel still has the matching vin and all of the trim, upholstery, etc are all in great condition. Mechanically the car is second to none, it is exceptionally tight feeling and it drives as smooth as silk. The engine does not smoke or drip a drop of anything. Same goes for the trans and driveline, smooth and no leaks or noises. Everything works on this car: cruise, heat, cold AC, wipers, windows, locks, power hatch release, lights and the original radio sounds great as well. Also included is a massive folder full of receipts and documentation that reflects the relentless attention to detail and maintenance throughout the years. The car does have a BBK H-pipe and flowmaster mufflers, everything else is bone stock. It has a nearly new interstate battery and a set of great Michelin tires. I wouldn't hesitate to take this car across the country. It's getting harder to find one of these foxbody cars in such nice, original condition. With all this said, I will listen to solid cash offers but I am in no need to sell. As for trades, I would be interested in a more modded foxbody or any other fast street cars. As mentioned above, this car is very nice for its age but it is 23 years old so it is not showroom perfect. Not included will be any warranty or guarantee however I will allow and encourage an inspection/test-drive before payment is made.

NHTSA investigating 725k Ford, Mercury vehicles for stalling issue
Mon, 25 Feb 2013Owners of Ford Escape, Mercury Mariner, Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan models, listen up. According to a report on Automotive News, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened an investigation into these four vehicles totaling an estimated 725,000 units. The investigation appears to center around a malfunctioning throttle body on non-hybrid models of the 2005-2012 Escape and 2011-2012 Fusion. With Mercury dying off after the 2011 model year, this probe will also apply to the 2005 through 2011 Mariner and the 2011 Milan. There has been some discussion around the Escape stalling issue for some time now, but this investigation appears to be larger in scope than before.
Though not a recall yet, NHTSA's Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) has received 123 complaints of stalling or surging vehicles, while Ford itself has logged 1,472 complaints. The investigation report, which is posted below, seems to indicate that a faulty circuit board for the throttle body could cause the vehicle to go into limp mode, which, according to NHTSA, could cause complaints of both stalling and surging.
2015 Ford Shelby GT350, GT350R Mustang option pricing leaked [UPDATE]
Tue, Apr 28 2015UPDATE: Ford wasn't willing to elaborate on Mustang6G's pricing report, with spokesperson Said Deep simply saying, "We haven't announced pricing at this time." The limited availability of the new 2015 GT350 and GT350R isn't the only Ford Mustang news today, as a leaked report by Mustang6G has shined a light on the cost of the optional equipment we first reported on way back in January. First, we have the standard GT350. As we reported earlier, only 50 cars will get the $7,500-Tech Package, which includes magnetic ride control, navigation with Sync 3, dual-zone climate control, and heated, air-conditioned, leather-upholstered, and powered seats. The other 50 standard models will get the $6,500-Track Package. You'll still get magnetic ride control, selectable driving modes and enhanced cooling systems for the engine oil, trans and diff. Stand-alone navigation is $795, a black roof is $695, stripes are $475, and as with the standard Mustang, Triple Yellow Clearcoat paint is $495. Fancy one of the just 37 GT350Rs? You'll pony up (pun intended) an extra $3,500 on top of the price of a GT350. From there, Mustang6G cites a $3,000-SVT Touring Package, which we think references the Electronics Package (navigation, Sync 3, and dual-zone climate control). Outside of those two items, the GT350R's only additional options include a black roof, stand-alone nav, and stripes, all of which carry the same price as the standard car. Like our report earlier today, these prices appear to only be for the 2015 model. While production outputs for the 2016 will probably increase, we can't be sure whether these prices be carried over, as well. Mustang6G claims it will have a starting price "very soon," which we'll naturally bring you as soon as it's published. We've also reached out to Ford to confirm this report as well as get any info on the GT350's starting price. Stay tuned. Related Video:
