I bought this car almost six years ago from Arizona with 12,000 miles on it. It had a clean car fax then and now.
It has never been painted that I can tell. It has been a true joy to drive but it's time to move on. It has the
updated ford factory clutch in it which was the only weak spot in the car design that I can tell but they are fine
after the update. It has the correct Goodyear tires on it and they have about 75% remaining. It has a few stone
chips primarily on the hood from normal driving. Interior has some normal wear crinkles in the drivers left side
bolster leather from getting in but no cracks, tears, holes,or other signs of wear. I am 45 and have never been to a
track with it and the only modification I've done was to replace the rear mufflers with ford Motorsport racing
mufflers to improve the exhaust tone which is a beautiful note I must say. Not ear splitting but just a nice growl
at lower speeds without the drone sound at highway speeds. Always garage kept and it has never seen snow or salt.
Driving this car to work on occasion I noticed I was the only one on the freeway going to work with smile plastered
across my face. No leaks or mechanical problems of any kind. It also has the shaker 1000 watt factory installed
stereo option. slight scuffs on lower portion of front spoiler from parking block tops.

Ford pulls official support from top-level NHRA teams
Sun, 11 Aug 2013As the smallest team in the sport, it wasn't really a surprise when Dodge decided to pull out of NASCAR, but Autoweek is reporting that Ford is looking to pull the plug on its professional-level NHRA sponsorships following the 2014 season. With attendance and television ratings down, the article reports that Ford is just backing out of the top series but will remain active in the Sportsman classes of racing, which are geared more toward the grassroots and semi-professional racers.
This means that one of drag racing's biggest names, John Force, will be left looking for new sponsorship after next season. Force, 64, has been with Ford for 17 years, winning 15 championships in that time and winning almost half of all Funny Car events in his Mustang since he started working with Ford in 1997, but after 2014, there could be some big shakeups at John Force Racing.
According to the report, Force would consider is moving over to the Top Fuel dragster series, although he could also move to another manufacturer to remain in the Funny Car series. With Ford on the way out, this leaves just Toyota and Dodge as the remaining active automakers in the highest levels of drag racing.
Automakers tussle over owners of 'orphan' makes
Thu, 10 May 2012When General Motors put down several of its brands in recent years, it also let loose thousands of brand-loyal customers who will eventually need another car.
R.L. Polk Associates estimates there are more than 18 million cars from 16 discontinued makes on the road today. Those "orphan owners" have sales-hungry competitors seeing dollar signs. GM is offering Saturn owners $1,000 cash toward a Chevy Cruze, Cadillac CTS or a GMC Acadia. Ford is giving its Mercury lease customers a chance to get out of their contracts with no early-termination penalty and offering to waive six remaining payments if they drive off in a Ford or Lincoln.
Edmunds.com research shows the efforts are paying off somewhat for GM, with 39 percent of Pontiac owners, 37 percent of Hummer owners and 31 percent of Saturn owners taking delivery of another GM-branded vehicle. But that leaves as much as 69 percent of owners going elsewhere. Ford, Honda and Toyota seem to be attracting many former GM owners.
Watch Vaughn Gittin Jr. hit the ice in his 2015 Mustang RTR
Thu, Mar 19 2015There's more than one way to get a car to drift. You can set up a purpose-built drift car. Or you can put a car on a slick surface. But in this case, Vaughn Gittin Jr. has done both. In this latest video, the driftmeister extraordinaire reveals the new livery for his 2015 Ford Mustang RTR, and put it on a frozen track, flanked by snow banks. It's the perfect place to drift any car, and this custom pony car could very well be the perfect drifter. Call it a match made in heaven. A cold, frozen-over slice of heaven where rear-drive muscle cars put on one heck of a show. Gittin, for those unfamiliar, is one of the drifting scene's foremost showmen, and like Ken Block or Tanner Foust, he competes primarily in Blue Oval machinery. Vaughn will be challenging the Formula Drift series once again in the Mustang RTR, but whether the sideways-driving championship is coming to a circuit near you or not, you can scope out a piece of the action right here.
