So my wife always talked about wanting a Mustang and for our 4 year anniversary I got her "the one".  2000 mustang V-6 3.8L Manual transmission. in Silver

200,835 Miles on the odometer.

Kelly blue book value is right under $3500.00

NO RESERVE, Clean blue title in hand and yes, its in my name!

The dealership I bought it from offered me half price labor, if i supplied my own parts so heres the parts I brought to them the day I bought it.

The dealership did oil change and gave me a new battery.

I read a lot about all the common problems and decided that if i fixed all those up front the wife would never have a problem and my life would be easier and with autozones 10%military discount it made the parts affordable and half off labor, yes please. about 275 in parts and 200 for labor.

Now for the part everyones actually looking for.......... What needs to be done and why are you selling it?

Well in 3 months were going to start trying for a kid and we both decided that it will be a pain in the A.. to put the baby seat in the back of a coupe. We have 3 cars with the mustang, thats our main purpose for selling it, so we can use that money to design a baby room etc.

What it COULD use... but is fully functional, passes inspection, DOES NOT LEAK. but kinda annoying, the windshield COULD be replaced but not a requirement.

FRONT LEFT FENDER, as you can see in the pictures, it has a gouge in it from a LANDSCAPING Trailer, and the rear left quarter panel has small ding in it but can be popped out.

The cars only being driven a couple times a week, so MILEAGE MIGHT CHANGE but wont be more than 200 more than listed by auctions end.

TIRES HAVE 75 % life left and are in great shape.

The only other thing is the car has an exhaust leak, very quite when starting and idling , when given gas seems to get a little noisy, but when you let off the gas the noise goes away

Perfectly fine to drive as is , car is driven weekly from round rock to austin with no problems, will get you where you need to go, so yes you can pick up the car and drive it home. Brakes are great too!!

 CLEAN CAR FAX!!!!!!!

WE ARE ALSO INCLUDING IN THIS AUCTION!!!!!

2 ADDITIONAL FRONT SEATS ONE, DRIVER AND PASSENGER IN GREY THESE SEATS GO FOR 200 A PIECE! I was going to swap out the drivers side seat with the tear in it with one of the seats both work!! and can be swapped with the GT seats that are now in there,

THE FRONT LEFT FENDER!!! IN GREY - JUST NEEDS TO BE PAINTED!!

2 KEY FOBS
1 KEY
1 TEXAS CLEAR AND CLEAN TITLE

sooooo....
All you have to do is get the fender painted take the 6 bolts off and put new bumper on put six bolts back in and no more fender problem, 150-175 for new windshield and 50-? for exhaust leak? Thats it!!!

Ford Fusion production scaled back just 3 months after it was accelerated

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

Three months after kicking off production of the Ford Fusion at its Flat Rock, MI factory, Ford Motor Company is taking steps to trim output in the face of heavily discounted competition from Toyota and a growing supply of vehicles.
The addition of Fusion production in Flat Rock - which also builds the Mustang - was meant to be what pushed the handsome mid-sizer past its arch-nemesis, the Toyota Camry. An extra facility building Fusions was also meant to curb the growing demand for Ford's highly profitable sedan.
But with word that Flat Rock would take "approximately" one extra week off for the holidays combined with an 88-day supply of Fusions - reportedly due in no small part to what Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas called "aggressive discounting of the Camry" - some analysts are now beginning to wonder if Ford may have overextended itself by adding a second Fusion facility to the mix.

The 1965 Ford Mustang could have looked a lot different

Fri, May 8 2020

The 1965 Ford Mustang is unquestionably an automotive design icon, and nearly every generation of Mustang has some connection to that original car. Because it's such a universally-known vehicle, we were amazed to see all the different designs that were being considered. Head of Ford's archives Ted Ryan recently shared photos of design proposals for the original Mustang on Twitter that he and Jamie Myler found, and we reached out to them to find out more. As Ryan initially noted, the photos were taken on August 19, 1962, and they are proposals for the Ford Mustang. Apparently Ford had committed to doing a Falcon-based youth-oriented car at this point, and it did have plans to launch the car in 1964 for the 1965 model year. But after having little success with early design proposals, the company asked all of its design studios — the Advanced Studio, Lincoln-Mercury Studio and Ford Studio — to submit proposals. With only about two years before the planned launch, Ford was understandably short on time, and it's believed that the studios only had a month to create and present these designs. Lincoln-Mercury design proposal View 8 Photos The majority of the designs, a total of five, came from the Advanced Studio, and part of this was because they already had a couple of concept designs in reserve it could present. Two other models representing three design possibilities came from Lincoln-Mercury, and just one model with two options came from Ford. The Advanced Studio proposals are shown in the gallery at the very top of this article, and the Lincoln-Mercury and Ford proposals are in the gallery directly above this paragraph. The Advanced Studio's most radical design is the one that was clearly related to the Mustang I concept that would be shown later that year with huge wraparound rear glass, turbine-inspired bumpers and enormous side scoops. The other proposals from the studio were more conservative, featuring simple lines, grilles reminiscent of the Falcon, and one even borrowing the jet-thruster-style taillights made famous on the Thunderbird. Lincoln-Mercury had some impressively bold designs, particularly its fastback that had buttresses to extend the shape all the way to the tail. This car had two different side trim possibilities. The other Lincoln-Mercury design was toned down a bit, but had two interesting possibilities for side detailing, as well as some crisp, low-profile tail fins.

Ford to add more than 2,000 jobs in Kansas City

Thu, 02 May 2013

Continued high demand for the Ford F-150, along with the addition of the all-new Transit series of commercial vehicles, has led Ford to announce that it will add over 2,000 jobs at its Kansas City Assembly Plant. At the time of the announcement, the plant boasts 2,450 hourly employees working on two shifts. All told, Ford will invest $1.1 billion in the Kansas City plant to expand truck production and begin producing the Transit series.
According to the automaker, fullsize truck sales are up 19 percent through April of 2013, leading to an additional 900 workers and a third shift of production for the F-150. Production of the Transit series will begin in the fourth quarter of this year, requiring an additional 1,100 workers. In addition, Ford estimates that a total of 18,000 jobs will be created by suppliers to its Kansas City plant to support the additional vehicle production.
