This is a 1932 cab mounted on a 1941 frame. The truck has a clear New Jersey title in my name with passing inspection.
It has a 1946 Flathead with a 4" Merc crank, rebuilt 1934 3spd trans, new clutch and banjo rear with custom torque tube. The motor has about 3000 miles on it and was purchased complete & running from a friend. Speedo works.Runs and drives great. It also has an electric fan and new custom radiator,new wiring harness, full working gauges, gas shocks up front & air shocks in the back.Five new tires with 35 wire wheels, new mustang fuel tank and sender, all new brake & fuel lines. All brake components & wheel bearings are new. It's a ton of fun to drive and steals the show everywhere I take it. Unfortunately, it needs to go to complete another project. I have a box of receipts as well as metal for lower doors, cab corners & cowl bottoms. There are no side or rear windows. Please look at pictures & ask questions. Ex-PR chief Vines accuses Ford of bugging cars, phones
Fri, 24 Oct 2014Jason Vines, former head of communications at Ford among other automakers, is accusing the Blue Oval of bugging his company phone and his car during the Firestone tire recall for the Explorer in 2001. The allegations have come to light in Vines' upcoming book What Did Jesus Drive? Crisis PR in Cars, Computers and Christianity.
According to The Detroit News, which has an advance copy of the book, Vines (pictured above) claims that after leaving the company, someone with security within Ford advised him that he had been bugged around the time of the recall. The allegations don't stop there, though. Vines further contends that he might not have been the only one to get this treatment, noting that then-general counsel John Rintamaki also believed he was being listened to.
According to The Detroit News, even if it had been a company phone, recording Vines without his knowledge still would have been a felony under Michigan law.

Yes, the first 2015 Mustang to be sold to the public will be crossing the block at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, with proceeds from the auction going to JDRF, the charity formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
"Ford Mustangs have always been among the most popular collector cars at Barrett-Jackson Collector Car events," said the president of Barrett-Jackson, Steve Davis. "While every collector wishes they had snapped up the first Mustang sold in 1964, this is an opportunity to realize that dream in a different way."
Holy crime-fighting Ford F-150, Batman!

Certainly not the Batmobile - there's no way a 4x8 sheet of plywood will fit between the wheel wells, not to mention the fact that jet turbine engines have an unfortunate tendency to set trailers on fire when towing...
No, what Batman needs is a pickup truck. The boys from Ford teamed up with Galpin Auto Sports to build just such a machine, and it has just debuted at Comic Con. Designed by Jared Barris, grandson of the legendary kustomizer George Barris, the 2012 F-150 pickup you see here, dubbed Crime Fighter, is painted Tuxedo Black with Ferrari Red highlights and is affixed with fins on each side of the truck bed. It's nothing if not unique.
Well, it's at least unique for now. According to Ford, Galpin in Southern California is willing to take orders for customers looking to don a cape and hit the town for a night of crime-fighting action. Or trips to Home Depot.
