This auction is for a 2004 Ford F-150 Crew Cab 4x4 pickup truck. It is a former "One of a kind" custom built show truck built for the SEMA auto show in Las Vegas by KAO Autostyling and Full Throttle Suspension. When built it was the first ever Ford F-150 with a 14" suspension lift. Thats right, 14"!! It is equipped with a 5.4 Liter Triton V8 engine that is basically stock for reliabilty and performance. The truck is fully loaded and features a leather interior and a custom stereo and entertainment system in the cabin. Other extra options are AAMP Industries power hideaway side steps that automatically drop down when you open the doors. Also the truck is equipped with a set of 20 x 12 Weld racing wheels wrapped in 40x15.50x20 Toyo Open Country Mud Terrain tires, dual 2 chamber flowmaster exhaust system, Airaid cold air intake system and Fox coilover gas shocks front and rear. Every piece of the longarm suspension kit has been powdercoated or chromed. The truck has just under 85k original miles and starts and runs great. Truly a headturner in every way! This truck is being sold with NO RESERVE and will go to the high bidder at the end of the auction. I will consider motorcycles for trade. Please email me with what you may have. This is a "pickup only" item. Email me with any questions and thanks for looking!!

Watch how Ford torture-tested the 2015 F-150
Wed, 09 Apr 2014The Ford F-150 has been the best-selling truck in the United States for the past 37 years, and the best-selling vehicle outright for the past 32. That's quite a legacy, and thus, it's no surprise that Ford worked super-duper-extra hard on creating the all-new, aluminum-bodied 2015 F-150 that debuted at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
During an event at the company's headquarters in Dearborn, MI this week, we were able to see all of the ways that Ford endurance tests, not just the new F-150, but all of its vehicles. From examining things like light exposure to interior materials and paint finishes, to making sure that corrosion absolutely does not happen when steel components come in contact with aluminum panels in the new truck. The goal: ensure that the new F-150 is nothing short of "Built Ford Tough."
But that's only a small part of the story. Of course, the new F-150 has to be able to withstand whatever a pickup buyer might throw at it - and truck buyers arguably demand the most from their vehicles. So in an effort to convey just what the new F-150 had to go through before being given the final go-ahead, Ford has released a series of videos, showing how its new halo truck was indeed torture tested.
2015 Ford Mustang to make world debut on Dec. 5 [w/video]
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Between a bevvy of spy shots, speculative renders and insidery images from the halls of Car and Driver, we've got a pretty decent idea of what the 2015 Ford Mustang might look like. Still, we're excited to see the real deal as soon as possible.
Turns out that Ford has told us just when that first official look might come, too, although it has chosen somewhat of a backdoor fashion for dropping the news.
The video below popped up on the Ford Mustang YouTube channel this morning, promoting a social media effort called #MustangInspires on. The video and hashtag ask fans of the pony car to share pictures of the car - or "photographic stories of inspiration" - on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. But the truly interesting part of the video description is that which mentions taking "the cover off the all-new Mustang" on December 5. Consider our calendars marked.
Ford's official Euro aftermarket partner Mountune coming to US
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Now that we're getting a steady stream of Ford's European offerings, the aftermarket world is finally starting to catch up as well. UK-based aftermarket tuning company, Mountune has just announced that it will be setting up shop in California to provide high-performance and racing parts for Ford vehicles including the Focus ST and Fiesta ST.
Mountune lays claim to being Ford's "official European tuning partner," and US buyers will soon have access to these parts through Ford dealerships and with a Ford Racing warranty. Speaking of Ford Racing, Mountune also says that it will be working with Ford's in-house team to develop future components for both street and track. There are no specifics as of yet for which products will be offered here, but the company plans to launch a US-specific website later this month with more information.
