Great shape 1978 Ford F150 Ranger XLT 1/2 ton pickup with 8 foot styleside bed. Good little work truck for the farm, contracting or everyday transportation. Truck is currently state (PA) inspected until 10/13. PA title in hand. Runs, drives and stops great. Driven weekly. Does have some minor issues for a 32 year old truck. Power steering pump makes some noise but functions properly. Transmission front pump also makes noise but it too functions the way it should. Shifts good, goes into all gears including reverse. Valve seals leak and truck smokes, especially when first started. Does not effect the power or drivability. Would not hesitate to drive it 200 mile+. Body is in very good condition. Cab corners, rockers, floors and cab mounts are solid. Bed floor and tail gate also solid. There is some rust around both rear wheel well openings and the right side has a small crease with one piece of trim missing. The bumpers, chrome trim and grille are in excellent condition. Interior is also in excellent condition. Seat and door panels look great (no rips, tears or damage), along with the headliner and steering wheel. The dash pad does have a crack in the center. Tires are like new. This truck is equipped with a class three towing hitch with electric brake and rare factory tilt column. Everything works in this truck. Title shows odometer is exempt and reads 60,765. The condition of this 32 year truck says it could be the actual mileage. Your call. Ford Fiesta ST in startling track battle against Toyota GT86
Wed, 26 Jun 2013On the surface, there's very little that the Ford Fiesta ST and Toyota GT86 (or the Scion FR-S that is sold in the US, or the largely similar Subaru BRZ) share in common. One is a hatchback with power coming from a turbocharged engine routed to the front wheels. The other is a coupe with power coming from a naturally aspirated four-cylinder boxer engine routed to the rear wheels.
Thing is, both of them are reasonably priced performance cars aimed at a similar segment of the automotive marketplace, so a comparison isn't out of the question. It is with all of this in mind that we direct you to the video below, in which the blokes from Evo pit the two manic little machines against one another on a race track. The result? Ford supports bid for Detroit Rallycross race with Motown-minded Fiesta ST vid
Mon, 01 Jul 2013As Ford continues its cheerleading effort to help bring the 2014 Summer X Games to its hometown of Detroit, MI, it has released footage of its 2014 Fiesta ST Rallycross car on location at some of the city's well-known landmarks. This video appears to have been shot around the same time as the previous X Games Detroit video was made, but it focuses 100-percent on rally car action.
With Ford Racing driver Andreas Eriksson behind the wheel, this Fiesta ST lays down some serious rubber atop Detroit's Cobo Hall parking structure, at Belle Isle and around the Michigan Central Depot. Detroit isn't alone in the bid for a three-year X Games contract as Chicago, Austin and Charlotte are also hoping to play host. The winning host city is expected to be announced this summer. Here, we meet the brothers Ring in person - Mike and Jim - and see how they've lent they're passion for craftsmanship to their business, along with their surname.
