This 2003 Ford Excursion is a 1 owner vehicle, we purchased new in savanah georgia. 139,000 miles truck runs good , 4x4 rarely been needed or used a few times, vehicle exterior is good/nice, minor scratches from being 10 years old but no major dings or dents, just had oil change and filter. This is a 6.0 Turbo, interior good condition very nice with exceptions of seat pics shown from the front, other then that looks really good, engine clean, no major deficiencies and ready to travel anywhere. I did just have the turbo looked at it needs cleaned ($900.00 from dealer, $600 from mechanics in town) will deduct from cost if you do the work or have cleaned, or I will do it if purchased at full price. This is the only thing truck would need it runs strong and good now and burns up the freeway pulling a car or anything else but want the turbo cleaned after 10 years the sludge and grudge build up. leather interior power seats in front, video console for back with head sets, spare tire full, front and rear AC. I am in the military not a car dealer so up front and honest about the truck, have 6 children so needed the truck, now kids are growing and wanting to get a full size truck for self is only reason consider selling, otherwise I would keep forever great truck and with only 139,000 miles in 10 years shes good for another 10 years and 140,000. Truck is for sale locally on Craiglist but ebay the best deal. Due to the seats and Turbo needing cleaned only reason selling at this price otherwise this truck easily be 18-20K dollar truck. BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING TRUCK. NO WARRANTY AS-IS WHERE IS, THE DESCRIPTION ABOVE IS 100%ACCURATE AND NO SCAMMING HERE. THIS IS A GOOD TRUCK, BLACK BEAUTY COULD BE YOURS. AFTER THESE 3 DAYS WE WILL KEEP HER AND OFF EBAY SO IF INTERESTED BID TO WIN, DONT NEED TO SELL SO WONT GIVE AWAY THANKS

Junkyard Gem: 1973 Mercury Marquis Brougham 4-Door Pillared Hardtop
Tue, Nov 7 2023Ford's Mercury Division debuted the Marquis in the 1967 model year, as a sporty coupe based on a stretched Ford LTD chassis. When the LTD got an update for 1969, so did the Marquis, and production of that generation of the top-of-the-line Mercury continued through 1978 (the Grand Marquis hit streets the following year). The 1969-1978 Marquis was a big, imposing land yacht, and the Brougham version came absolutely loaded with affordable luxury. Today's Junkyard Gem is a Marquis Brougham from the first year of the Malaise Era, found in a Phoenix self-service car graveyard recently. This car appears to have spent decades sitting outdoors in one of the harshest climates in the country, and so it's in rough shape. The vinyl top received the full thermonuclear treatment and is mostly obliterated by now. The interior got thoroughly cooked as well. Still, its original opulence shines through if you use some imagination. What hurts is that this car was packed with most of the good options, including the mighty 460-cubic-inch (7.5-liter) V8 engine with four-barrel carburetor. The price for the 460 was just $76 in this car, or around $548 in today's money. The base engine was a 429 (7.0-liter). Power numbers were way down for 1973 when compared to a couple of years earlier, partly as the result of tightening emissions standards but mostly due to the switch from gross to net power ratings that began midway during 1971 and was completed by the end of 1972. This engine was rated at 202 horsepower and 330 pound-feet. The only transmission available was a three-speed automatic. We can assume that the original buyer of this car and its single-digit fuel economy had a rough time when the OPEC oil embargo hit in the fall of 1973. Believe it or not, air conditioning was not standard equipment on the '73 Marquis Brougham (you had to move up to a Lincoln for that). This one even has the automatic temperature control feature, adding a total of $508 to the cost of this car (about $3,661 in 2023 dollars). That AM/FM/8-track radio—or, in fact, any radio—was an extra-cost option as well, with a price tag of $363 ($2,616 after inflation). The MSRP for the 1973 Marquis Brougham sedan (known as a "pillared hardtop" thanks to the frameless window glass) was $5,072, which comes to $36,555 in today's dollars. Obviously, its out-the-door cost would have been much higher with all the options.
2015 Ford Mustang to make world debut on Dec. 5 [w/video]
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Between a bevvy of spy shots, speculative renders and insidery images from the halls of Car and Driver, we've got a pretty decent idea of what the 2015 Ford Mustang might look like. Still, we're excited to see the real deal as soon as possible.
Turns out that Ford has told us just when that first official look might come, too, although it has chosen somewhat of a backdoor fashion for dropping the news.
The video below popped up on the Ford Mustang YouTube channel this morning, promoting a social media effort called #MustangInspires on. The video and hashtag ask fans of the pony car to share pictures of the car - or "photographic stories of inspiration" - on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. But the truly interesting part of the video description is that which mentions taking "the cover off the all-new Mustang" on December 5. Consider our calendars marked.
Hear the 2015 Mustang GT V8 roar for the first time
Wed, 26 Jun 2013Our combined knowledge of the 2015 Ford Mustang continues to deepen, as spy shooters have begun to compile video and audio of the upcoming sixth-generation car.
Case in point is this latest series of video clips, which not only gives us a great vantage point of the Mustang in motion, but also allows us to hear the Ford V8 engine and exhaust. After perusing the aural delights of this short video, which, admittedly, doesn't catch the Mustang GT at full song, we can at least say that the throaty exhaust isn't disappointing.
Chances are good that the 2015 Mustang GT will debut with some version of the current (and excellent) Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, though we're unclear as to whether or not the motor has been massaged for its next-gen debut, or what may have been done to exhaust plumbing. At this point, we're just happy to hear the pony run. Scroll below to hear for yourself.
