1999 Ford Ford E350 Extended Wheelchair Accessible Van
Used, Excellent Condition, City Owned, Awesome Value
You are looking at a completely rare find. This van is absolutely clean inside and out, the panels under the van and surrounding it
are in excellent shape. The van has only 22696 miles currently on it and looks as such. The van was in operation until recently removed
from the fleet. We have the carfax maintenance history on the van - all of our service was recorded. This is a single owner van.
The history reports which you will receive all reflect this information. The Ricon S2000 lift works great, without any issues. Because of
the little use this van has received, the engine compartment, inside of the van, interior, seats...etc. show very little signs of use.
There are a couple of spots to point out where there is a dent. One of the dents is on the rear drivers side quarter on the rear pillar.
There is a small dent by the passenger side tail-light. There is also a small ding on the front drivers fender by the hood. There is not rust on the
body panels of this van - it is absolutely clean inside and out. This is one of the cleanest wheelchair accessible vans you will find. The tires
and brakes are in very good condition. The van runs strong, transmissions shifts solid, air blows ice cold. The van also features cruise control
with steering wheel controls. The rear has courtesy (tinted) glass and insulated roof and side panels. The van also has rear heat and air which
is controlled from the center council dash area. Owners manuals and 4 keys will be provided. There is also a storage box in the front between
the two bucket seats which houses the wheelchair straps. We also have several straps which will come with the van as well. There is a foldable
rear jump seat which two passengers can ride. Really a versatile setup for either an organization or individual who would like mobility. There
is a lot that can be done with this van to customize the interior for many different needs.
Please note - a $500 deposit will be required at the auction end which will be due within 48 Hours. Full payment must be made within 5 days
of auction ending. Because this vehicle is being offered for sale by Mobile Auto Truck & Equipment we will collect sales tax in Minnesota ONLY.

Old vs. new debate gets new life with $25,000 Fiesta ST vs. E46 M3 showdown
Fri, 10 Jan 2014You know who you are. There's probably a few of you reading; the ones that say, "Why would I spend $27,000 on a new Mazda MX-5 when I could get a used Chevrolet Corvette with more power." Yes, we're talking to you, used car proponents. While it is a fair argument, it's not like used cars don't come with drawbacks of their own, though.
In an attempt to put this new-versus-used argument to bed once and for all, Matt Farah of the The Smoking Tire has picked up a pair of $25,000 cars - a used, but lightly modified, 2003 BMW M3 and a 2013 Ford Fiesta ST. Naturally, there's a comparison.
Farah, as he's wont to do, does get into the nitty gritty of what each car is like to drive, and discusses the merits of used and new-car shopping. But as he rightly points out while testing the M3, "So, it is a good car. But like any used car, it really does depend on the individual car."
Ford recalls 200,000 vehicles for brake lights that won't turn off
Wed, Jan 19 2022Ford and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced a new recall for nearly 200,000 vehicles because their brake lights may not turn off. Drivers of affected vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions may also be able to shift the vehicles out of Park even when their foot is off the brake. That increases the risk of a rollaway and could cause a crash. According to documentation posted on NHTSA's recall hub, a separated brake pedal bumper is to blame for the issue. The recall applies to "certain 2014-2015 Fusion, Lincoln MKZ and 2015 Mustang vehicles originally sold or ever registered, in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Hawaii." The safety regulator adds that "exposure to certain environmental conditions, such as high temperatures, high humidity and salt air can cause the brake pedal bumper to disintegrate and separate from the brake pedal." Owners of affected vehicles should expect notification of the recall in early March. They will be directed to the dealership of their choice to have their brake pedal bumpers and clutch pedal bumpers replaced free of charge. Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. Lincoln Nautilus, Ford Edge latest prediction: Production ends in July 2024
Thu, Aug 20 2020In June, Auto Forecast Solutions put out a report compiled by its vice president of global forecasting, Sam Fiorani. One item in the report covered how Fiorani had heard from "multiple sources" that Ford shut down the program to replace the Edge crossover in 2023. Assuming this came to pass, with the Lincoln Nautilus based on the Edge, the inference is that the Nautilus would retire at or around the same time. Ford's response to media queries about the report was either "No comment" or PR-speak deflection. Lincoln's statement on the matter to Motor1, a crafty non-answer, was, "The Nautilus plays and will continue to play an important role in Lincoln’s growing SUV portfolio which includes the Corsair, Aviator and Navigator. Lincoln is investing in growth segments like SUVs and we have no plans to exit the segment." It's possible Lincoln has no plans to leave the segment, but the Nautilus might, according to a fresh, unsourced report in Ford Authority. The site claims the Nautilus will end production at the Oakville Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada, in July 2024. Again, we can't know how much, if any of this, is true. But we're zeroing in on a timeline for the potential end of the Edge and Nautilus in the U.S. Those are the only two products Oakville currently builds, and when the Canadian union Unifor asked Ford about the reports in June, Ford couldn't offer union reps anything concrete or reassuring. The Detroit News quoted Unifor chief Jerry Dias as saying of the automaker, "There is no question, they are going through a major evaluation of their portfolio, based on a whole host of things."  We could be seeing one of the earlier theories for Edge's potential demise coming true. Some analysts suspect Ford could be pruning its crossover lineup because it has too many similarly-sized offerings at the moment, the Edge hasn't met its sales targets in Europe, and more compact crossovers are on the way that could bring better street cred if they're associated with the Bronco or Bronco Sport. Unifor and Ford are now in negotiations over a new contract, so it's possible we'll get more clarity in the next month or so about Ford's plans and what will come of Oakville and its roughly 4,000 workers. If Ford walks away from the assembly plant, it will only have two engine plants left in Canada, and no vehicle assembly north of the border for the first time in about a century.
