Vehicle is located in Livonia, MI (48154). I purchased this Tahoe from a friend to be used as a winter vehicle. The reason for this is because my wife and I owned a new Camaro which we stored for the winter. We recently traded the Camaro in on a different vehicle so we no longer need the Tahoe. We have owned it for approximately three months. It was my daily driver for that time. I did not have any issues with the vehicle, we just no longer need it. As soon as I bought the Tahoe, I replaced the radiator and the Serpentine belt. It could use a front end alignment which really isn't that bad. The tailpipe has broken off however the rest of the exhaust system is intact. I still have the tailpipe. The 4X4 works great and so does all the power accessories. Seats are in good condition. The carpet is in fair condition. The Tahoe spent half it's life in Florida so the rust is not that bad. The bottom of both front doors have rust on them. The rocker panels are solid. The tires are in great shape, Everything is stock in the vehicle. A new paint job would make this Tahoe look brand new. Feel free to contact me to look at the vehicle and inspect it. Fuel mileage is not very good either. I averaged 10-12 mpg.

Chevy SS prototype spotted wearing Pontiac G8 clothes

Do not adjust your computer screen, you are not seeing the rebirth of the Pontiac brand. General Motors has chosen to use a G8 to disguise a test mule for the latest prototype of the forthcoming Chevrolet SS. The G8 was closely related to the Holden Commodore and Vauxhall VXR, the platform upon which the new Chevrolet performance model will be based. It should come as little surprise, then, that GM has opted to use the cladding from the former G8.
Thought the front clip of this mule is pure Pontiac, note the vents immediately behind the front wheel. That is a distinctive design hallmark of the Vauxhall VXR. Also note that this vehicle is right-hand drive, as the Holden and its Chevy counterpart will be very closely related. That likely includes potential drivetrains. The spy photos of this mule also reveal very wide rear tires, and rear wheels that do not match the fronts.

When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
