Up for auction is this 2000 Suburban with a few improvements.

New fuel pump was installed in 2013.

This vehicle has a 3 inch lift kit installed in addition to like new 17" rims and LT 285/70 R17 tires.

In 2010 the vehicle had the body panels replaced leaving this vehicle with virtually no rust.

It currently it set up to seat 8 passengers with a bench seat in the middle; however, I do have the orginial captain's chairs that can go back into the vehicle as well depending on what the buyer needs.

As you can see in the pictures there is some wear on the leather in the driver and passenger seats.

The windshield has a crack across the passenger side.

Aside from those minor flaws, the vehicle runs great, has working 4WD, and is ready to drive away with a clean title.

Subprime financing on the rise in new car sales, leasing too

We all remember the financial crisis that began several years back. At its core was a splurge of subprime lending for housing loans. The housing bubble burst, triggering a collapse of the mortgage-backed securities market. Apparently, those types of loans still exist in the automotive industry, and the market share for these types of "nonprime, subprime, and deep subprime," loans has grown 13.6 percent compared to the third quarter a year ago.
According to an Automotive News report, high-risk lending expanded to 24.8 percent of total loans in Q3, up from 21.9 percent for this time last year. As this level increased, average credit scores of borrowers dropped to 755, down from 763 a year ago. In that time, the average financing amount increased $90 per vehicle, to $25,963.
At 818, Volvo maintains the highest per-owner credit score, while Mitsubishi has the lowest, at 694. The highest rate of borrowers was at Toyota, with 14 percent of the market, followed by Ford with 13.1 percent and Chevrolet at 11.1.

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
