Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Utility Service/work Truck Chevy 11' Bed W/pipe Rack on 2040-cars

Year:2005 Mileage:197000
Location:

SELLING UNDER BLUEBOOK VALUE!!!!!!

Truck is in good working condition. It has a Royal Utility body with pipe rack. This is an 11 foot long utility bed, so it has lots of storage. There are 4 bins and 2 flip tops on each side. This has dual fuel tanks and dual wheels... all of the tires are in decent condition (see photos). Vehicle has a tow package (receiver & lights). Truck was purchased (leased new), by an electrical company here in Arizona, so there is no rust on the body. Regular maintenance was kept up on the vehicle. We purchased the vehicle from the electrical company.

Vehicle was in 2 minor accidents years ago (truck is large and solid, so it faired well). There is no evidence that my mechanic could find of any body work done to it or any issues to the under carriage. Additionally, I had him check it out mechanically and he reported no problems with the truck. He suggested an oil change and a coolant flush. Air conditioner blows cold, radio works, etc...

Interior is in very nice condition with no holes or rips... we replaced the driver and passenger bottom cushions and also the headliner. There are a couple of small dings/dents in the front of the hood, but otherwise body is in very good condition. Pipe rack has 3 bars that go across (we didn't have them in place for the photos).

I will work with buyer to arrange inspection of truck or for pickup.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me.

Thanks, Jil

Joe Flacco wins C7 Corvette along with MVP honors

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

As part of a longstanding tradition, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, was given a new car directly after the game and trophy celebrations. For 2013, that car is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a dealership in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 before returning to prominence as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.
Last year, Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition. Manning also won in 2008, when he selected a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid as his reward. In 2011, quarterback Aaron Rodgers accepted the keys to a Camaro convertible.
Though we're most definitely an auto-obsessed group, we did watch the Big Game along with nearly everyone else in America. And we've gotta say, as if winning the Super Bowl and receiving the Tiffany-designed Pete Rozelle Trophy wasn't enough for the multi-millionaire MVP athletes, a brand-new C7 seems like an awfully generous prize. Scroll down below for an official announcement from General Motors.

GM applies for LT5, LTX trademarks... are new small block variants coming?

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Recently discovered General Motors trademark applications for LT4, LT5, LT88 and LTX have observers wondering what kind of high-performance offerings could be on their way. A new LT4 would mark a return of the engine designation first used on the Corvette Grand Sport, SLP Pontiac Firehawk and SLP Chevrolet Camaro SS from 1996 and 1997. Supposition at Corvette Forum - which provided advance intel on the C7 like these leaked images - believes a new LT4 could go into the high-performance trim of the next-gen, 2015 Camaro that would be more powerful than the 580-horsepower Camaro ZL1.
Seeing an LT5 again would also be déjà vu - in its former life it was a 5.7-liter V8 for the C4 Corvette ZR-1 from 1990-1994 designed by Lotus, producing from 370 hp to 405 hp. A mix of rumor and hope is that the new LT5 will be a supercharged evolution of the 6.2-liter LT1 (pictured) placed in the new C7 Corvette, and that it will go into the C7 version of the ZR1 pumping out something like 700 hp.
The LTX trademark is, as with that last letter, a complete mystery. If the "X" isn't a generic way to denote the whole LT family, it's wondered if it LTX could refer to a crate motor offering like the LSX.
