UP FOR AUCTION I HAVE A NICE 2007 CHEVROLET 3500 CREW CAB DUALLY.I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK FROM ANOTHER DEALER THAT BOUGHT IT FROM THE FAMILY OF A OLDER GENTELMAN THAT PASSED AWAY IN 2011 SHORTLY AFTER BUYING THE TRUCK.THE TRUCK SAT UP FOR A GOOD WHILE.IAM A WHOLESALE DEALER I BUY FROM NEW CAR STORES,FINANCE CO,LEASING CO,OTHER DEALERS ECT.I BUY THESE VEHICLES IN VOLUME MULTIPLE UNITS FOR ONE SET PRICE.I DO NOTHING TO THESE VEHICLES NOT EVEN TIGHTEN UP A LOOSE SCREW.THIS KEEPS MY OVER HEAD DOWN AND PRICES DOWN.THE TRUCK HAS SIX NEW TIRES,THE A/C IS ICE COLD.IT HAS A GOOSENECK BALL IN THE BED.THE TRUCK IS POWERED BY A GREAT RUNNING 6.6 LT DURAMAX DIESEL IT STARTS RIGHT UP HOT OR COLD AND RUNS GREAT.IT HAS NO MAJOR LEAKS OR DRIPS.THE ALLISON TRANSMISSION SHIFTS OUT SMOOTH.THE EXTERIOR IS SILVER IN COLOR IT HAS SOME MINOR DINGS AND SCRATCHES AND SOME ROCK CHIPS NOTHING MAJOR.THE LH BEDSIDE HAS A BROKEN PLACE BELOW THE GAS CAP DOWN LOW IAM SHOWING YOU IT IN THE PICTURES SO YOU WILL KNOW IT WAS THERE. 2014 Chevrolet Silverado tows in new configurator, microsite
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Judging by your continued enthusiastic response to configurator notices, dear reader, you enjoy speccing out new cars as much as we do. Better still, there tends to be even more ways to personalize, configure and bloat theoretical MSRPs on full-size trucks as there are with more ordinary passenger cars. In addition to trim level, engine and transmission choices, truck buyers usually have to specify items like cab configuration, bed length, number of driven axles, tow packages, gear ratios and all sorts of bits and bobs.
That's why we're pleased to see the DIY specification utility for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado come alive so soon after this week's Detroit Auto Show debut. While the configurator lacks pricing (General Motors hasn't announced numbers yet) and full options, you can still spec out your half-ton rig, and even print it out or email it to your friends. Beyond the configurator, the new model-specific site is pretty cool, too, with various videos and closer looks at the truck's new features.
The new Chevrolet pickup range won't be on dealer lots until sometime this summer, so whether you're a building contractor, an avid sportsman or just a guy or gal that loves full-size trucks, you might want to check out the link below to keep your appetite whetted. If you're more of a Sierra fan, well, it looks like you're going to have to wait a while - GMC hasn't updated its site yet.
Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.

Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
