I am the second owner of this truck. always garaged out of the sun. It has the original paint and has been protected by the aluminum running boards, so the bottom of the doors fenders have no stone chips. This truck comes with a factory set of original wheels, trim rings, lug nuts and caps. The under carriage is completely rust free as is the rest of the truck. The brake lines still have factory paper tags on them.Steering is tight with no loose knuckles. The front grill is a new GM grill that I replaced because the chrome was peeling on the old. The tires are Michilin LTX M/S load range E LT 245/7516R, that are in very good condition. The interior of the truck is very clean, and was not smoked in, it has no odors from animals or humans. The carpet has no wear or stains, complete with original floor mats.

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine
Fri, 08 Mar 2013Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.

Tue, 19 Mar 2013This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...
