2003 Chevy C1500 Silverado. Custom paint. House of Kolor Kandy Tangelo Pearl over Bright Silver base. Sharp truck. Dark charcoal cloth enterior. Fold down center console. Lowered 2 " in rear to give truck a level stance. Billet grill,rear roll pan & true dual exhaust. Eagle alloy wheels and Michelin tires.Truck looks,sounds and drives very nice. Always a daily driver,not a work truck. Drive train is a 4.8 V8 engine w/4L60E transmission & 3:42 rear axel.I have the rear bumper and receiver hitch for the truck also. Runs strong and gets excellent fuel economy. Truck has 132k miles and this will go up a little as I drive the truck almost daily. Its a good,reliable truck. Truck does have a small dent in rear roll pan from someone backing into it. Its fixable,I just haven't done it yet. I have priced it fairly. It has a clean title,up to date on tags. Watch how Corvette Racing's new collision-avoidance radar system works

When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.

As promised, Chevrolet and GMC are offering a live webcast of the world premiere for the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500. After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).
Shift your eyes down just below to see the reveal as it happens, starting at 9:30 AM EST. We anticipate having loads of images full technical information to share after the webcast, too, so truck aficionados should stay tuned. We'll also be bringing you live images of both trucks too, when we see them on the show floor at next month's Detroit Auto Show.

Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out

General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.
