1995 Silverado Turbo Diesel Lifted Low Miles Z71 Loaded 44 Inch Tires Custom on 2040-cars
Tampa, Florida, United States
For sale is a nice well built 1995 Silverado factory turbo diesel with over 8 inches of lift. ....Truck was built for show and has very little off road use since built. So much money was invested into this build and was well thought out with many tasteful upgrades. The truck has a professionally done front straight axle conversion with clean welds and paint. The truck is a highly optioned z71 4 wheel drive in indigo blue and has professionally painted flame paint job to accent the truck. Interior is near mint and very clean. No rips or tears in the interior, carpet is very clean, dash and door panels are near mint. The entire frame has been professionally painted as well as the inner fender wells and other accents. It almost looks like it may have been a body off build and the frame may have been professionally sprayed before the cab was re installed. I cannot confirm that but by the looks of it its a high possibility. The truck features a real metal cowl induction hood (not cheap fiberglass), custom front bumper with billet inserts, custom grille with billet inserts, custom exhaust with 4 inch magnaflow tip, aftermarket head and taillights, 2 brand new batteries.. The entire bed has been rhino lined, over 8 inches in real suspension lift (no cheap body lifts), off road shocks with dual shock tower in the front. Expensive weld aluminum racing wheels on 44 inch tires. Chrome running boards and chrome rear bumper with hitch etc..... Items that truck may need isn't much considering the cost to build one like this and finding a low mileage factory turbo diesel Silverado in this condition and this big is near impossible. I will miss this truck and know that I will never run into another one like this again in this condition. This specific body style is arguably the best and most recognized style chevy made and always will be sought after as time goes by. I have already seen price increases in Silverado 4x4s from 1983 to 1995 do to there popularity. Don't miss this opportunity to own a near mint example of Chevrolets best truck design ever! Below is a list of imperfections or things I see that aren't perfect. I am trying to be as honest as possible on the condition of the truck and point out everything I see good and bad so that there is no suprises and you know what you are purchasing. Keep in mind it is a 20 year old truck. buyer will need to make there own arrangements for shipping and pick up. I expect a 1000 dollar deposit with 24 hours of end of auction. Buyers with less than 10 feedback need not bid at all. I will dismiss them as a bidder through ebay. Balance of the truck with need to be paid in full within 3 days of action ending. I will work with buyer on extended time needed to arrange shipping but not the deposit and balance of the purchase price. Ordometer on the truck reads 89k original miles and it shows like that. just realized eBay's autocheck comes up with 153k not sure why Truck will need new tires in near future. They still hold air just fine and drive but new road tires will be nescessary soon Wheels and tires are extremely wide and have limited turning radius ( skinnier tires would greatly help that in the future) overly wide at the moment inner door handle drivers side just broke last week, super easy and cheap fix tailgate has small dings in it due to a chain or tow rope snapping and flying back paint has some flaws here and there like chipping and such but not overly drastic at all front aftermarket headlight adhesive is giving way allowing condensation to enter ( real cheap to buy a new one here on ebay) window tint is starting peel on drivers side and passenger side windows Slight bend in the frame where the cab and bed meet due to its size and taken off road. It is Virtually unnoticeable but I did want to be honest and add this in. Again easy fix and not detrimental to the driveabilty and capabilities of the truck. Drives like a big truck with super wide wheels. I believe a pitman arm in the front and less wider tires would dramatically make it a much better daily driver AC could use a recharge being that I rarely drive the truck. It has been my trophy drive way ornament for too long. Wife says it needs to go. |

Ranking full-size pickup trucks by the size of their discounts
Tue, Oct 20 2020Each and every month, full-size pickup trucks dominate the new-car sales reports in America. It's been that way for years — the Ford F-Series has been America's best-selling vehicle for 38 consecutive years — and it's not going to change any time soon. With that in mind, we've compiled this list of discounts on brand-new full-size pickup trucks using data provided by Truecar, including their average retail prices, average transaction prices and discounts in dollars and percentage off list price. We've also created a visualization of the best deals Americans are scoring on the three best-selling models in America. If you're looking for the absolute biggest discount you can find on a new truck, look no further than your nearest Ram dealership, then scour the lot for a leftover 2019 1500 model. Buyers are averaging nearly 13% off the cost of the 2019 Ram, paying an average transaction cost of $41,667. That's $6,071 off the average retail price, which equals the best truck deal in October. The 2020 edition isn't discounted nearly as far, averaging $2,852 off for an average transaction price of $48,904. The next best deal is on the 2019 Ford F-150; its average transaction price of $43,064 equals $3,843 off its sticker price. The 2020 F-150's $2,810 discount means buyers are paying around $47,300. They should know, though, that a brand-new model is coming for 2021, so we'd expect bigger discounts on remaining 2020 inventory in the coming months. Moving to General Motors, the best deal you'll find is on leftover 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500s, which are selling for an average of $47,043. That's $2,852 off the sticker price. Interestingly, 2020 Silverados are seeing slightly lower transaction prices at $46,009, but with a smaller average discount of $1,693. The 2020 GMC Sierra is mechanically similar to the Chevy, but aimed at buyers who want a bit more luxury. That's reflected in the 2020 Sierra 1500's average transaction price of $54,491, which is $2,131 off its sticker. If pickup trucks aren't your thing, take a look at this list of the best new car deals in America based on the percentage discount off their suggested asking prices here. Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th
Tue, 15 Apr 2014It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
GM global sales off slightly this year
Fri, Oct 16 2015General Motors saw a slight dip in global sales through the first nine months of the year. In that time, the automaker moved 7.2 million vehicles – down 1.3 percent from 2014. For the third quarter alone, the numbers were down 3.1 percent with a worldwide volume of 2.3 million. The automaker had a better performance in North America, as Chevrolet is showing strength with some of its best crossover sales ever, and pickup trucks were up 16 percent for the year. Volume on the continent advanced 4.9 percent through September to nearly 2.7 million vehicles. The third quarter improved that figure even further with a 5.2-percent jump and deliveries of about 931,000. Elsewhere in the world, things were more mixed in the third quarter. European deliveries jumped 1.1 percent, but the company was still down 6.3 percent there for the year so far. Volume in China also fell 4.2 percent, but the country showed 1.6-percent growth through the first nine months. South America took the biggest, hit with Q3 numbers dropping 30.8 percent. While GM is seeing a small sales drop globally, the company could still climb up the ranking of the world's largest automakers by the end of the year. Volkswagen had the top spot in the first half of 2015, but since then, the German company has been rocked by an international emissions scandal. GM Sold 7.2 Million Vehicles in the First Nine Months of 2015 DETROIT – General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) sold 7.2 million vehicles globally in the first nine months of 2015. The company posted sales increases in four of its five largest markets, with record sales in China and strong retail sales gains in the United States. Total sales were down 1 percent, due primarily to the company's previously announced decisions to strategically reduce its presence in certain markets, as well as difficult market conditions in South America. "Our unwavering focus on the customer is paying off in our largest and most important markets as we execute one successful launch after another in the right segments," said GM President Dan Ammann. "At the same time, we have reacted quickly to challenging macroeconomic environments in other markets and have shown the discipline to exit situations where we see no long-term path to acceptable returns." Examples of GM's recent success include: GM truck sales in North America were up 16 percent in the first nine months of 2015, driven by a 17 percent increase in Chevrolet truck deliveries in the United States.
