1964 Chevrolet C20 3/4 ton Stepside Classic Truck

NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!

This truck is in great shape- almost 100% original. I have years of receipts on all the services. Well taken care of. No major rust at all. Paint job is good- wooden bed was replaced and has some weathering but it is in good shape. Not a speed demon but runs great starts every time and has a ton of power and a huge hauling capacity.

$6,500k in work performed by previous owners. I have all receipts for all the work and manuals over the last several years. This truck was very much cared for- it could be 100% restored with just a bit more work and I have seen similar trucks that are valued over $12,000.

Previous owner changed shocks, starter, rebuilt the carburetor, fuel pump, changed rear brakes, new battery, alternator, heater core and gas tank. Drum brakes not disk. 8 lug. Has a ball hitch on bumper. 3 on the tree speed shifter. Gross weight ratings 5500-7500lbs. V8 engine. Long bed. No smog needed.

 Low original miles, 79,780.

The bad- Small rust bubble on drivers door, bed interior has some scratches, drivers seat has tear. Speedometer and gas gauge do not work correctly. Horn button is not functional . Everything else works well and it drives great.

100% Clear title. Starting Jan 1st it was registered as non-op. Local pick up only.

Please feel free to ask me questions- we can also set up a phone call and test drive. Happy to bring it to local mechanic if you pay for inspection. Sold as-is. Any questions please call 772-200-1700

Fewer than 1 in 3 Chevy dealers earn right to initially sell C7 Corvette

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

Looking to make the launch of the 2014 Corvette Stingray as efficient as possible, Chevrolet will be limiting the numbers of its dealers that can sell the all-new coupe and convertible. According to Automotive News, sales of the C7 Corvette will initially be limited to less than a third of Chevy's total dealership network when the 'Vette goes on sale this summer.
Only 900 dealers out of more than 3,000 locations nationwide will be allowed to sell the new Corvette at first, and the reason for this is so that there are no shortages at dealers that can actually get the cars sold. The article says that the 900 dealerships chosen represented 80 percent of total Corvette sales in 2012.
Some of the requirements dealers had to make to get initial allocation of Stingray sales include having sold at least four Corvettes in 2012 and having a Corvette Stingray specialist who will be required to have gone through a training session costing more than $2,000 per attendee. Once demand for the 2014 Corvette Stingray begins to subside - approximately six to nine months after it goes on sale - then allocation could open up to more dealers, but the report indicates this could happen following the 2014 model year.

Watch this time-lapse build of the Chevy SS for NASCAR

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

There's only about a week left until we get our first look at the production version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan, but Chevrolet NASCAR teams have been looking at the race version of the car all winter. Autoweek has posted a really neat time-lapse video showing just a portion of what it takes to build one of NASCAR's new Gen6 stock cars.
Though the video is quite brief, it does show almost the entire build process starting with just the car's nose, and it gives us a good look at how integral the template is to the final product. As a bonus, Hendrick Motorsports also provided some videos showing two of its teams performing pit stop tests over the winter. The second video shows some of the more detailed aspects of the racecar's rear end, including the stock-looking trunk cutout and a newly mandated rear bumper extension that will be used on super speedways like Daytona and Talladega.
To see what Team Chevy has been up to all off-season, check out all three videos posted after the jump.
