This is a really nice 1957 Chevrolet Half Ton Pickup Truck. It was a frame off restoration, the rear end is out of a 1997 Firebird that has been shortened 5 inches with disc brakes. Ididit tilt steering column, (Stainless). Helix Mustang front suspension with power rack and pinion. Motor: 97 LT1 / 80,000 miles. Transmission: 4L60E. Painless wiring harness for motor and body. Vintage Air Conditioning. Dakota Digital Gauges. Pioneer Radio with CD player with USB - 6" speakers front with 6 X 9 " speakers behind seat. New oak floor and stainless steel strips in bed. LED tail lights. New windshield- New back glass, and New one piece door glass (tinted) . New door seal rubber, New front Fenders, New rear fenders, new doors, new floor pans, new door steps, new cab corners, new 15 X 8 wheels, new head liner, new grill, new bumpers, new parking lights, new tail lights, dual exhaust, new door handles, new enter fenders, new complete bed, it has original tailgate, and is in very good condition, new interior carpet. Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
Veyron and C7 Corvette join cast of Transformers 4
Wed, 29 May 2013Like the Fast & Furious franchise, the Michael Bay-directed series of Transformers movies has become known as much for its bad acting as its impressive lineup of cars. As filming just started for Transformers 4, Bay's website has confirmed two new cars for the next installment as well as a makeover for everyone's favorite tractor trailer hero, Optimus Prime.
Joining the cast of T4 are a "race-inspired" Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. While Bay's website did not supply names for either car, Bugatti is reporting on its Facebook page that the Veyron will join the Autobots. Speaking of the good guys, top Autobot Optimus Prime is getting an all-new body based on a Western Star with a gaudy appearance that was seemingly inspired by Trick My Truck - right down to the six smoke stacks and side pipes!
Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold.
