I have a 1966 Nova Wagon in very good condition! I have owned her for two years and had my mechanic go through the whole car. He replaced or restored almost every part on the Nova. The freshly built engine has less then 1000 miles. She drives excellent, jump in and go anywhere! She has a beautiful black interior with all the trim. The stance looks great with the Foose wheels and the disc slotted and vented breaks. The Vintage A/C works great and so does the heat. Here is a small list of what was done to the Nova.
1966 Cheverolet Nova II Wagon:
1) New custom built 350 engine with a Turbo 350 transmission with limited slip
2) New Holley Avenger four barrell carburator
3) New Flowmaster exhaust
4) New starter
5) New alternator
6) New rear air shocks and front gas shocks
7) New Tubular upper and lower control arms
8) New Ididit steering column
9) New Drilled and slotted rotors on front and rear
10) New Hankook tires front and rear
11) New Foose wheels front 17 x 7 and rear 17 x 8(Also have the original wheels)
12) New Complete Interior
13) B & M Shifter
14) 2" Cowl Hood
15) Vintage Air (A/C)
16) New 6QT deep oil pan
17) New window trim
18) etc............................
The paint color is a aqua turquoise which was done by the previous owner. That was the only thing that I was going to do in the future, give her a show quality paint job. I would say it's a 7 out of 10 right now. She still looks great!

Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.
Chevrolet planning low-cost Corvette under Stingray?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013If you're burnt out on musings about the Chevrolet Corvette, you'll want to go ahead and skip this post. Motor Trend reports General Motors is hard at work on a low-cost version of the seventh-generation sports car for 2015. Rumored to be called the Corvette Coupe, the car will forgo the Stingray and skip the 450-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine in favor of a 5.3-liter V8 with under 400 ponies. If you're keeping track, that's a shade of the same engine found behind the headlights of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
The report also suggests the Coupe will receive a number of aesthetic tweaks to separate it from the Stingray, including different front and rear fascias as well as new front fenders and a rear diffuser. Motor Trend says the point of all this is to cut the car's price tag, which means we may see a Corvette on showroom floors for less than $50,000 if this car comes to fruition.
Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why
Sun, 27 Jan 2013Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.
If you have about five minutes and you can't get enough information about the new 'Vette, then check out the videos posted below.
