2012 Chevrolet Malibu Lt Sedan 4-door 2.4l With Pearl White & All-star Package on 2040-cars
Hebron, Kentucky, United States
2012 Chevy Malibu LT with All-Star Package Here's a great one-owner car that has gone over 50,000 miles without any warranty repairs. This makes it the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned! As you would expect, this vehicle has mostly highway miles since I travel for work in this vehicle. Besides the normal LT1 Malibu features, this car has the All-Star package which includes: 18" Chrome-Tech wheels Chrome exhaust tip Remote start (really nice on cold mornings and hot summer afternoons) Power driver's seat with air bladder lumbar support Bluetooth phone link Rear power console 12V and 120V power connections The other option is the beautiful White Diamond Tricoat paint which provides that nice pearl paint finish. It doesn't look like the "refrigerator white" rental cars. Check-out the last photo for a pic of the original window sticker with all the additional features which come as standard equipment on 1LT Malibus. Original MSRP on this Malibu was $25,670 so my price reflects nearly a 50% discount versus the original sticker. For your entertainment and trip planning, this vehicle is equipped with both On-Star and Sirius XM satellite radio. Also, this is a non-smoker vehicle! This car has not been involved in any accidents and has a clean Autocheck report. This car should cost you around $200 monthly for 6 years if you have average or above credit and pay the sales tax and registration as your down payment. The remaining factory warranty on this vehicle is powertrain coverage and is good until 100,000 miles or March 2017. Please send me any questions and thanks for looking! |

Use this PowerPoint when convincing your spouse to let you buy a Corvette
Thu, 14 Feb 2013When you are not the one in charge of the purse strings, creativity is a must when trying to get the string-holder to bankroll that next shiny object you just can't live without.
When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.
Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.
