up for auction is a 1969 chevy Malibu, it is a running and driving car, it has the original 307 v8 with a 2 barrel carb, it does not smoke or burn oil, it has a th 400, this car is a project that needs very little to be complete. I bought the car about 3 years ago with the intentions of restoring it, the only things I have done to it are, had a new dual exhaust system installed after purchase, had new upper and lower ball joints and lower control arm bushings and a front end alignment, had new tires installed put and HEI distributor with new wires and plugs, put a new alternator with internal regulator, and put some r12 Freon in the system but not enough, because it only blows cool. This car runs and drive very nice, and straight, the interior is very clean except for some sun fading on the upper driver side backrest, all of the glass on the car is good, this car is current on inspection and registration, and the title is clear in my name. It will still need some work to be complete, but it is a very nice start, it will need patch panels on the front lower fenders, and a new grill, everything on the car works, it is a 44 year old car so keep this in mind, know what you are looking at,  the car is sold as is, shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, I will help in any way I can please research my feedback profile I have sold cars on e-bay before, I have a 100% positive rating, there is no reserve on the car the starting bid is the least I will take for it. IF YOU HAVE  A  FEEDBACK RATING OF 10 OR LESS CONTACT ME BEFORE PLACING A BID IF NOT I WILL CANCEL IT. Please don't waste my time and yours by playing games on e-bay it costs time and money to list items, please be a responsible adult. Thank you for taking the time to view this listing, the odometer reads 06414 I am sure it has been turned over at least once,

More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
